Hero In You

දුෂ්කරතා හමුවේ සැබෑ වීරයන් බිහි වේ. මෙම වීරයන්ට සුපිරි බලයක් නොතිබුණද, ඔවුන්ගේ ශක්තිය හා අධිෂ්ඨානය අප සැමට ආදර්ශයක් වේ. මහරගම අපේක්ෂා රෝහලේ ළමා වාට්ටුවේ පිළිකා රෝගයෙන් පෙළෙන දරුවන්ට බලාපොරොත්තුවක් සහ සහයෝගයක් ලබාදීමට “Hero In You” ව්‍යාපෘතිය නමින් ප්‍රයත්නයක් කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලැබීය. මෙම ප්‍රශංසනීය මුලපිරීම වත්මන් අර්බුද සහ වෛද්‍ය හිඟයේ ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලෙස අභියෝග රැසකට මුහුණ දෙන මෙම කුඩා සටන්කරුවන්ගේ ජීවිත වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම අරමුණු කර ගෙන ඇත.

துன்பங்களை எதிர்கொண்டு, உண்மையான ஹீரோக்கள் உருவாகிறார்கள். இந்த ஹீரோக்களுக்கு கேப்ஸ் அல்லது வல்லரசுகள் இல்லை என்றாலும், அவர்களின் வலிமையும் உறுதியும் நம் அனைவருக்கும் ஒரு எடுத்துக்காட்டு. மஹரகமவில் உள்ள அபேக்ஷா மருத்துவமனையின் குழந்தைகள் பிரிவில் புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இளம் நோயாளிகளுக்கு நம்பிக்கையையும் ஆதரவையும் வழங்குவதற்காக சமூக சேவை அவென்யூவினால் திட்டம் “Hero In You” என்ற பெயரில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் முகாமைத்துவ மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்தின் ரொட்டராக்ட் கிளப் தலைமையிலான இந்த போற்றத்தக்க முயற்சி, தற்போதைய நெருக்கடி மற்றும் மருத்துவ பற்றாக்குறையின் விளைவாக பல சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்ளும் இந்த இளம் போராளிகளின் வாழ்க்கையை மேம்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

The present crisis in the country has brought about significant challenges, particularly in the healthcare sector. Children receiving treatment at Apeksha Hospital are directly impacted by the lack of essential medications. Recognizing the challenges these kids encounter, RACUOCFMF understood the need to provide a helping hand and offer the greatest support available.

To ensure the success of the project, the club established a connection with the hospital staff to understand the specific requirements during this challenging time. As a result, On the 31st of May, a significant contribution was made by donating 20 units of Methotrexate (1g) and 2 units of carboplatin (450g) to the donation unit of Apeksha Hospital. These contributions aimed at easing the hospital’s workload and supplying necessary pharmaceuticals to aid in the treatment of the kids.

The efforts of the community and the club members as a whole helped the Project to be successful. E-Tickets and physical tickets were specially printed and sold, with the proceeds directly supporting the cause. The club actively sought donations from the community, emphasizing the significance of their contributions in making a difference in the lives of these children. The unwavering support and generosity shown by the community was essential to the project’s success.

Project “Hero in You” stands as a testament to the power of compassion and collective action. By addressing the urgent needs of the children battling cancer at Apeksha Hospital, the project has provided a glimmer of hope and support during their challenging journey. The donated medicines have filled a crucial gap, ensuring that these young heroes receive the necessary treatments and care they deserve.

Project “Hero in You” exemplifies the spirit of empathy, resilience, and collective responsibility. It encourages us all and serves as a reminder that we are all capable of making a difference and becoming heroes in the lives of people who are in need.
