The first session was conducted by Mr. Madhushen Paramanathan, a project manager by profession and an award-winning expert in the area of leadership and research. The session was open for both members and non-members of the club. The main highlights of the session were the concepts of project management and the productivity of projects. It was a very interactive session where the host and the audience shared their dream projects and their take on them. Moreover, Mr. Madhushen shared his professional experiences in the field of managing projects and handling teams. The first session was thereby concluded on a productive note.

The second session for the day was conducted by the District Rotaract Representative-Elect Rtn. Rtr. PP Sathma Jayasinghe and this session were open only for the Rotaractors. She shared a bit from her resplendent journey as a Rotaractor. The session was conducted in a more fun and interactive approach where the audience was fully involved. It was mainly focussed on how to manage the Rotaract projects and the purpose of such projects. Rtr. Sathma shared her personal experiences gained throughout as a Rotaractor and the challenges she faced at each step. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience and was very useful as well.

After the second session, an icebreaking session was organized by the committee members, by our very own Rotaractors Rtr. Nethuni Shanaha and Rtr. Mindya Pravindi. They performed an amazing duet of their take, on the hit song “Night Changes” by One Direction.

The third and final session of the day was hosted by Rotaract District Secretary, Rtn. Rtr. IPP Danica Harding. She reminisced about her Rotaract expedition and showed the value of her journey for an emerging member to kick-start his or her journey. The session was about the importance of project reporting once a project is implemented. She emphasized the importance of not waiting to write the report until the project ends, but periodically completing it as the project is being implemented. She also made the session very interesting and lively by asking questions, which kept everyone on their toes throughout the project.

The end of this session marked the conclusion of the project “Lead The Way” which was filled with vast amount of knowledge from the beginning to the end. The day was finally marked as done with a small party, to celebrate the blog team of RACUOCFMF on achieving 1.1 million blog views on our official website.
