Here are a few more questions we asked her, and her thoughtful answers to them:

What inspired you to become a Rotaractor?

I joined Rotaract when I first joined University. I wanted to get to know more people and work on my networking, skills and things like that. I’ve been in the movement for 3+ years and I would say it’s mainly because of the people.

What is the one thing you would like to change in your Rotaract journey?

I don’t think there’s anything I would like to change. I like how everything played out from day one and I’m glad how I’m here today. Because when I first joined, I didn’t think I’d be in the movement for this long. I’m glad how everything played out.

What were your biggest challenges as a Rotaractor and how did you overcome them?

When we were first directors everything was virtual. That was the first time when the quarantine started. So it was quite challenging because all the projects, everything had to be done virtually. So we had to get used to Zoom and everything like that. But after the year was completed we were proud to see all the projects we had done at the time. I think that would have been the biggest challenge we faced.

Stay tuned to find out who’ll take the CENTER STAGE next!
