Gold – Project “Live Online Radio” by the Rotaract Club of Ratnapura

The project “Live Online Radio” endeavored to establish an exclusive FM radio station dedicated to the Rotaract Club of Ratnapura, functioning as a pivotal community engagement platform. Within this radio domain, an array of podcasts was curated, encompassing “Where to Begin: Wellness Journey,” a program centered on personal well-being; “Issa’s Talk,” addressing topics of particular interest to women; and “Let’s Talk About Rotaract,” a series showcasing the club’s overarching mission and impact. Complementing these, monthly wrap-up podcasts succinctly summarized club activities, while 24-hour music broadcasts enriched daily experiences. The project’s multifaceted objectives encompassed the nurturing of community engagement, the dissemination of reliable information, the execution of awareness campaigns on pertinent social issues, and the amplification of Rotaract club activities.

Gold – Project “Writing Maze” by the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya

The Writing Maze project, spearheaded by the PR Avenue of Rotaract club of University of Kelaniya, brought together writers from 22 clubs, including RI District 3220, to collaboratively craft an exceptional novel. Each club contributed a chapter within a week, offering writers ample creative freedom to shape the story. The project not only provided a platform for showcasing creativity but also explored how a plot can evolve uniquely in the hands of multiple writers, introducing unexpected twists and turns. With the ultimate goal of raising funds for stray animals through book sales, the project kicked off with an OC meeting on July 29, 2022. The meeting established member roles, finalized the project name and logo, proposed a writer and coordinator tracker, and created the “Weavers’ Guide” booklet. A detailed timeline and invitations to 20 clubs were sent, accompanied by the creation of an official WhatsApp group, “Weavers’ Group,” for effective communication. The first virtual meet-up via Zoom took place on August 21, 2022, introducing the project, conducting interactive games, and gathering valuable feedback through a questionnaire. The initiative continued with the Rotaract club of University of Kelaniya weaving the first chapter in September, marking the literary month. Subsequent chapters were passed on to various Rotaract clubs, showcasing a roadmap of collaboration. The project’s noteworthy objective and approach contribute significantly to societal betterment, fostering skill development, and adding a unique essence of creativity to each participant.Bronze – Project “WILDERVERSE” by the Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science, University of Colombo

The Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, proudly announced the successful completion of WILDERVERSE, a pioneering initiative designed to enhance the lives of captive animals at the National Zoological Gardens, Dehiwala. Comprising three key phases—Behavioral Enrichment, Habitat Enrichment, and Education. WILDERVERSE focused on improving the physical and mental well-being of 34 animal species. During the Behavioral Enrichment Program, tailored activities were implemented over two months to stimulate cognitive, sensory, and food enrichment, revealing the natural instincts of the animals. The Habitat Enrichment phase enhanced the living conditions of exotic birds through carefully chosen plantations in the aviary. Documenting the entire journey, ‘WILDERVERSE – The After Movie,’ a captivating documentary, was released on May 31, 2023, and premiered on YouTube. As WILDERVERSE concludes its inaugural chapter, the commencement of WILDERVERSE 2.0 will officially happen this year. With innovative enrichment approaches, it aims to inspire, raise awareness, and continue making a positive impact on captive wildlife.Bronze – Project “Last Man Standing” by the Rotaract Club of Colombo North

The Last Man Standing initiative was conceived with the primary objective of providing a platform for budding comedians to showcase their talents, while also extending support and training to help shape their comedic skills. The overarching goal was to establish a launchpad for their careers and contribute to the development of a vibrant comedy scene in the country. This comprehensive initiative unfolded across three distinct phases. The initial phase involved auditions, during which the project’s objectives were introduced, and the comedy incubator program was officially announced. The subsequent phase comprised backyard training sessions, wherein the eight finalists from the auditions had the opportunity to refine their performances. These sessions were facilitated by four mentors who provided valuable support to enhance the contestants’ comedic abilities.

Following the effective training sessions, the culmination of the initiative took place in the Grand Finale named “Last Man Standing.” This final phase was orchestrated as a unique and captivating experience, presented in the format of a boxing-themed comedy show—a pioneering concept in Sri Lanka. The intention was to immerse participants in a distinct atmosphere while combining seemingly unrelated elements to create a dynamic and unforgettable evening of comedy. The Grand Finale was a riveting spectacle that engaged the audience, with contestants vying for the coveted title of “The Heavy Weight Comic” and a substantial grand prize of Rs. 75,000 in cash. The event not only showcased the talent of the participants but also marked a significant milestone in the promotion and growth of the comedy scene in the country.පසුගිය වසර තුළ නව නිපැයුම් ව්යාපෘති වල ජයග්‍රහණ දෙස බලන විට එම ව්යාපෘති වල ගුණාත්මක භාවයන් පිලිඹිඹු වේ. ක්ෂණික අවශ්යතා ආමන්ත්රණය කිරීමෙන් ඔබ්බට, මෙම සුවිශේෂී ව්යාපෘති ප්‍රජාවන් තුළ කල්ප වත්නා වෙනසක් ඇති කිරීම සඳහා නව නිපැයුම් චින්තනයේ පරිවර්තනීය බලයක් ඇති කර තිබේ. Rotaract club විසින් සිදු කරන ලද විශිෂ්ට ප්‍රයත්නයන් සඳහා නව ප්‍රමිතියක් සකසා ඇති පෙරළිකාර මුලපිරීම සොයා ගැනීමේ ගමනක් සඳහා අප හා එක්වන්න. නවෝත්පාදන සහ ප්‍රජා සේවා ක්ෂේත්‍රය තුළ එහි සුවිශේෂී ජයග්‍රහණ සහ පිළිගැනීම තහවුරු කරමින් වඩාත්ම නව නිපැයුම් ව්යාපෘතිය සඳහා ද්විත්ව රන් සම්මාන ලබා ගෙන ඇත.

කැලණිය විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ Rotaract club හි PR Avenue විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලබන Writing Maze ව්යාපෘතිය, RI දිස්ත්රික් 3220 ඇතුළු clubs 22ක ලේඛකයින් එක්ව සුවිශේෂී නවකතාවක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමට එක් විය. සෑම සමාජයක්ම සතියක් ඇතුළත පරිච්ඡේදයකට දායක වූ අතර, කතන්දර හැඩගැන්වීම සඳහා ලේඛකයින්ට ප්‍රමාණවත් නිර්මාණාත්මක නිදහසක් ලබා දුන්නේය. මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය නිර්මාණශීලීත්වය ප්‍රදර්ශනය කිරීමට වේදිකාවක් සපයා දුන්නා පමණක් නොව, ලේඛකයන් අද්විතීය ලෙස පරිණාමය වන්නේ කෙසේද යන්න පිළිබදව ගවේෂණය කළේය.

දෙහිවල ජාතික සත්වෝද්යානයේ කූඩු ගතව සිටින්නා වූ සතුන්ගේ ජීවිත නඟා සිටුවීම සඳහා නිර්මාණය කරන ලද පුරෝගාමී වැඩසටහනක් වන WILDERVERSE සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීම පිළිබඳව කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ Rotaract විද්යා පීඨ සමාජය ආඩම්බරයෙන් නිවේදනය කළේය. ප්‍රධාන අදියර තුනකින් සමන්විත වේ – චර්යා පොහොසත් කිරීම, වාසස්ථාන පොහොසත් කිරීම සහ අධ්යාපනය. WILDERVERSE සත්ව විශේෂ 34ක කායික හා මානසික යහපැවැත්ම වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කළේය. චර්යා පොහොසත් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන තුළ, සතුන්ගේ ස්වභාවික සහජ බුද්ධිය හෙළිදරව් කරමින් සංජානන, සංවේදන සහ ආහාර පොහොසත් කිරීම උත්තේජනය කිරීම සඳහා මාස දෙකක් පුරාවට ගැලපෙන ක්‍රියාකාරකම් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන ලදී. වාසස්ථාන සාරවත් කිරීමේ අදියර යටතේ තෝරාගත් වගාවන් හරහා විදේශීය පක්ෂීන්ගේ ජීවන තත්ත්වය වැඩිදියුණු කරන ලදී. මුළු ගමනම ලේඛනගත කරමින්, ‘WILDERVERSE – The After Movie,’ ආකර්ශනීය වාර්තා චිත්‍රපටයක්, 2023 මැයි 31 දින නිකුත් කරන ලද අතර, YouTube හි මංගල දර්ශනය විය. தெஹிவளை தேசிய விலங்கியல் பூங்காவில் சிறைபிடிக்கப்பட்ட விலங்குகளின் வாழ்க்கையை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட WILDERVERSE எனும் முன்னோடி முயற்சியை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு செய்துள்ளதாக கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science பெருமையுடன் அறிவித்தது. இது மூன்று முக்கிய கட்டங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது – நடத்தை செறிவூட்டல், வாழ்விடம் செறிவூட்டல் மற்றும் கல்வி. WILDERVERSE 34 விலங்கு இனங்களின் உடல் மற்றும் மன நலனை மேம்படுத்துவதில் கவனம் செலுத்தியது. நடத்தை செறிவூட்டல் திட்டத்தின் போது, விலங்குகளின் இயற்கையான உள்ளுணர்வை வெளிப்படுத்தும், அறிவாற்றல், உணர்வு மற்றும் உணவு செறிவூட்டலைத் தூண்டுவதற்கு இரண்டு மாதங்களில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட நடவடிக்கைகள் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டன. வசிப்பிட செறிவூட்டல் கட்டமானது பறவைக் கூடத்தில் கவனமாக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட தோட்டங்கள் மூலம் வெளிநாட்டு பறவைகளின் வாழ்க்கை நிலைமைகளை மேம்படுத்தியது. முழு பயணத்தையும் ஆவணப்படுத்தும், ‘WILDERVERSE – The After Movie,’ ஒரு வசீகரிக்கும் ஆவணப்படம், மே 31, 2023 அன்று வெளியிடப்பட்டது மற்றும் YouTube இல் திரையிடப்பட்டது. Bronze – Project “Last Man Standing” by the Rotaract Club of Colombo North

Last Man Standing முன்முயற்சியானது வளர்ந்து வரும் நகைச்சுவை நடிகர்களுக்கு அவர்களின் திறமைகளை வெளிக்கொணர ஒரு தளத்தை வழங்குவதுடன், அவர்களின் நகைச்சுவைத் திறன்களான Rotaract Club of Colombo North ஐ வடிவமைப்பதற்கு ஆதரவையும் பயிற்சியையும் வழங்கும் முதன்மை நோக்கத்துடன் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. அவர்களின் தொழில் வாழ்க்கைக்காக ஒரு ஏவுதளத்தை நிறுவுவதும், நாட்டில் துடிப்பான நகைச்சுவைக் காட்சியின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு பங்களிப்பதும் மிக முக்கியமான குறிக்கோளாக இருந்தது. இந்த விரிவான முன்முயற்சி மூன்று வெவ்வேறு கட்டங்களில் வெளிப்பட்டது. ஆரம்ப கட்டத்தில் ஆடிஷன்களை உள்ளடக்கியது, இதன் போது திட்டத்தின் நோக்கங்கள் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டன, மேலும் நகைச்சுவை காப்பக திட்டம் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. அடுத்த கட்டம் கொல்லைப்புற பயிற்சி அமர்வுகளை உள்ளடக்கியது, இதில் ஆடிஷன்களில் இருந்து எட்டு இறுதிப் போட்டியாளர்கள் தங்கள் செயல்திறனை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான வாய்ப்பைப் பெற்றனர். போட்டியாளர்களின் நகைச்சுவை திறன்களை மேம்படுத்த மதிப்புமிக்க ஆதரவை வழங்கிய நான்கு வழிகாட்டிகளால் இந்த அமர்வுகள் எளிதாக்கப்பட்டன.
