Among the myriad of Rotaract clubs globally, these distinguished clubs have exemplified an unwavering commitment to community engagement, leadership development, and humanitarian initiatives. With a vibrant spirit and a collective dedication to making a positive impact, they have not only surpassed expectations but have set a benchmark for excellence in participation and collaboration. Gold – The Rotaract Club of IIT

At the 33rd Rotaract District Assembly, the Rotaract Club of Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) achieved the remarkable feat of being awarded the Gold Award for the Most Participative Club of the Year. This accolade not only acknowledges their outstanding level of involvement but also underscores the uniqueness of their projects, each with its own set of advantages and challenges. The diverse range of initiatives, spanning from educational endeavors to fellowship-focused activities and fundraising endeavors, reflects the club’s multifaceted approach to community service.

The club’s leadership, represented by the dedicated board of officials, actively encourages and motivates members to engage in these distinctive projects. The enthusiasm of both the officials and the club members is palpable, as they wholeheartedly participate in projects that offer valuable learning experiences. This commitment extends beyond their club, as the Rotaract club of IIT actively collaborates with fellow clubs, fostering a sense of community and collective success. In the distinguished arena of Rotaract clubs, the Rotaract Club of Achievers Lanka Business School has earned the prestigious silver award for being the Most Participative Club of the year. The current secretary, Rtr. Loshini Gnanasambanthan extends heartfelt gratitude to the Immediate Past President, Rtr. Sandithi Jagoda, and the past secretary, Rtr. Vinuri Ramanayake, for their unwavering encouragement. Their concerted efforts in motivating members to actively partake in a myriad of events in the past have played a pivotal role in the club’s journey towards this notable achievement. The silver award stands as a testament to the collective dedication and proactive engagement fostered by the club’s leadership, and it reflects the significant impact of their members’ enthusiastic participation in numerous events, paving the way for this esteemed recognition.

Bronze – The Rotaract Club of SLIIT

The Rotaract club of SLIIT proudly clinched the bronze award for the Most Participative Club of the year, marking a significant accomplishment in their commitment to active engagement and community service. According to the Immediate Past President, Rtr. Lathushanan Koneswara, this recognition is not just a token of achievement but a valuable learning experience for the club. Engaging in the projects of other Rotaract clubs has been a cornerstone of this success, providing invaluable insights into project organization, the intricacies involved, and the challenges encountered. Rtr. Lathushanan emphasizes the importance of such participation as a means to garner firsthand experience, understand project dynamics, and anticipate potential hurdles. Beyond the realm of learning, he highlights the role of such endeavors in fostering connections and strengthening ties within the Rotaract community.
