Blue Ringed Neck Parrot (Psittacula krameri)
General
Blue Ringed Neck Parrot is a lovely and fascinating pet bird. Due to their intelligence, it is simple to teach them a range of tricks and a good vocabulary. They are excellent pets and are talkative, intelligent, and lively. They are common birds in the pet trade nowadays. The Blue Ringed Neck Parakeet is a color variation of a subspecies of the Rose-ringed Parakeet.
Distribution and habitat
Originated in Ceylon but now they can be found throughout Asia, abundantly in India and Pakistan. The Blue Ringed Neck Parrot will be found in lightly wooded areas in the wild.
Appearance
The gorgeous medium-sized Parakeet has a striking pale blue hue. The Indian Ringneck Parakeet, which has several different color mutations, has a blue color variant known as the “Blue Indian Ringneck.” Visitors may observe their magnificent coloring, vibrant personalities, and human-like mimicry.
Diet
Indian Ringnecks rely on a diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts, berries, a variety of seeds, and nectar from flowers to thrive in the wild. To ensure its general health and lifespan in captivity, this bird has to consume a well-balanced diet.

මනරම් මධ්යම ප්රමාණයේ ගිරවාට කැපී පෙනෙන සුදුමැලි – නිල් පැහැයක් ඇත. විවිධ වර්ණ විකෘති කිහිපයක් ඇති ඉන්දියානු Ringneck Parakeet ට “Blue Indian Ringneck” ලෙස හඳුන්වන නිල් වර්ණ ප්රභේදයක් ඇත. මිනිසුන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ විශිෂ්ට වර්ණ ගැන්වීම, විචිත්රවත් පෞරුෂයන් සහ මිනිසුන්ට සමාන අනුකරණයන් නිරීක්ෂණය කළ හැකිය.
ආහාර
