The entire club was called to battle it out in the arena of Comics, where creativity was put to the test. Deepest and darkest of secrets were revealed… Armies were formed…War strategies were discussed… Weapons were up and ready to fire…the air was tense…’Fire’ the commander announced and hell broke loose at RACUOCFMF!
‘Comic Clash’, Phase 4 of Project Cheers, was introduced by the club service avenue as a fun spirited initiative to create a refreshing, joyous experience for the members. But none of the committee knew that the unexpected was expecting us! As this competition led many to think out of the box, to let their souls roam into the unknown, their minds were set loose, creating masterpieces! Incredible comics were brought to life!
“In brightest day, in blackest night…!” – Green Lantern…similarly when Sri Lanka was burning under the scorching sun of February, with sleepless nights and restless minds on 26th of February 2022, the clash of the greatest comic writers began!
Comics combine the depth and imagination of books with the visuals of movies! Simply, Comic books are more than just fun to read. Comics provide an escape into a world of the unknown, with the best storylines…creation of the most iconic characters…assembling of the most eclectic teams…teaching us life principles…and are an opportunity to delve into a different universe altogether!
Oaths were taken…the teams assembled…loyalty and team spirit was tested in the battlefield…midnight lamps were lit…plans were made…the deadliest competition the club has ever seen was in the happening…soldiers having each other’s back in dire times…all of this for what?
To take home the pride…the victory…of creating the greatest comic of all times at RACUOCFMF!
Many betrayals were seen, but all is fair in love and war, right?
But all of this led to the creation of comics and the winner to this ultimate battle is…
We congratulate all the winners for battling through and through, and emerging as the ultimate winners of “Comic Clash” and we know that this is not your final battle and to all other participants as Stephen Strange says the greatest gift anyone can receive in his lifetime is the chance to make a difference and you have definitely made a difference by participating!
But hold on to your horses…as the best is yet to come for the teams to gain points and win the grand trophy!
