The Midtown Fellowship Night was an exceptional project organized by the Rotary Club of Colombo Midtown, in collaboration with the Rotaract Clubs of Achievers Lanka Business School and Colombo Midtown. Held as a farewell event for the Rotary International (RI) year 2022-23, the gathering aimed to celebrate the enduring bonds between Rotarians and Rotaractors within the esteemed Midtown Family. This evening of fellowship and camaraderie left a lasting impression, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose within the Rotary community.
Midtown Fellowship Night යනු Rotary Club of Colombo Midtown විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද සුවිශේෂී ව්යාපෘතියක් වන අතර එය Rotaract Clubs of Achievers Lanka Business School සහ Colombo Midtown සමඟ එක්ව සංවිධානය කරන ලදී. රොටරි ඉන්ටර්නැෂනල් (RI) වසර 2022-23 සඳහා සමුගැනීමේ උත්සවයක් ලෙස පවත්වන ලද මෙම රැස්වීම ගෞරවනීය මිඩ්ටවුන් පවුල තුළ රොටේරියන් සහ රොටරැක්ටර්වරුන් අතර පවතින කල්පවත්නා බැඳීම් සැමරීම අරමුණු කර ගෙන ඇත. මෙම සන්ධ්යාව සහයෝගීතාවයේ සහ සුහදතාවයේ සදාකාලික හැඟීමක් ඉතිරි කර, රොටරි ප්රජාව තුළ සමගිය සහ හවුල් අරමුණ පිළිබඳ හැඟීමක් ඇති කළේය.
மிட் டவுன் பெல்லோஷிப் நைட் என்பது ரோட்டரி கிளப் ஆஃப் கொழும்பு மிட்டவுன், ரோட்ராக்ட் கிளப் ஆஃப் அசீவர்ஸ் லங்கா பிசினஸ் ஸ்கூல் மற்றும் கொழும்பு மிட்டவுன் ஆகியவற்றுடன் இணைந்து ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட ஒரு விதிவிலக்கான திட்டமாகும். ரோட்டரி இன்டர்நேஷனல் (RI) ஆண்டுக்கான பிரியாவிடை நிகழ்வாக 2022-23 நடத்தப்பட்டது, மதிப்பிற்குரிய மிட் டவுன் குடும்பத்திற்குள் ரோட்டேரியன்களுக்கும் ரோட்டராக்டர்களுக்கும் இடையிலான நீடித்த பிணைப்பைக் கொண்டாடுவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டது. கூட்டுறவு மற்றும் தோழமையின் இந்த மாலை, ரோட்டரி சமூகத்தில் ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் பகிரப்பட்ட நோக்கத்தை வளர்த்து, நீடித்த தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியது.
On the selected evening, members of the Rotary Club of Colombo Midtown and the Rotaract Clubs of Achievers Lanka Business School and Colombo Midtown congregated at a distinguished venue filled with warmth and excitement. The ambiance buzzed with anticipation as everyone prepared to forge deeper connections and reminisce about the accomplishments and challenges faced together throughout the RI year. The Midtown Fellowship Night also provided an occasion to celebrate the achievements of the RI year 2022-23. Amidst joyful conversations and shared laughter Rt, Dhamitha Pathirana, Rtr, Gajaba Senaratne, Rtr.Sandithi Jagoda and Rtr. Ovin Bimsara talked about their experience throughout the year and shared their memories with the attendees who reflected on the impact they had made, the lives they had touched, and the transformative projects they had undertaken as part of the Midtown Family. It was a testament to the spirit of service and dedication that defined their journey.
The presidents of the club also took the opportunity to introduce the president-elects and secretary-elects to the invitees and helped them blend in with the Rotary family. The Midtown Fellowship Night held on the 24th of May 2023 was a resounding success, strengthening the bonds within the Midtown Family. Around 50 Rotarians and Rotaractors representing all participating clubs came together at the rooftop of the University College Lanka building. The presidents expressed gratitude for the support and proposed more joint projects in the upcoming year. The event concluded with a delightful dinner, joyful music, and an atmosphere of fellowship.
