In today’s fast-paced and demanding world, stress has become an all-too-common companion for many individuals. Recognizing the significance of stress management and mental well-being, Team Kashyapa of Together SL, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance, organized a transformative mental health awareness session titled ‘Tranquilize.’ The session, held on March 10, 2023, via the popular video conferencing platform Zoom, aimed to equip participants with valuable insights and practical tools for effective stress management. With over 40 eager participants, the event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for individuals seeking guidance on maintaining healthy stress levels.

වර්තමාන වේගවත් හා ඉල්ලුම සහිත ලෝකයේ, මානසික ආතතිය බොහෝ පුද්ගලයන් සඳහා ඉතා පොදු සහකාරියක් බවට පත්ව ඇත. ආතති කළමනාකරණයේ සහ මානසික යහපැවැත්මේ වැදගත්කම හඳුනා ගනිමින්, Together SL හි කාශ්‍යප කණ්ඩායම, කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ සහයෝගීතාවයෙන් “Tranquilize” නමින් පරිවර්තනීය මානසික සෞඛ්‍ය දැනුවත් කිරීමේ සැසියක් සංවිධානය කළේය. ජනප්‍රිය වීඩියෝ සම්මන්ත්‍රණ වේදිකාව Zoom හරහා 2023 මාර්තු 10 දින පවත්වන ලද සැසිය, ඵලදායී ආතති කළමනාකරණය සඳහා වටිනා තීක්ෂ්ණ බුද්ධිය සහ ප්‍රායෝගික මෙවලම් සමඟ සහභාගිවන්නන් සන්නද්ධ කිරීම අරමුණු කර ගෙන ඇත. 40 කට අධිකව සහභාගී වූ මෙම උත්සවය සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්න ආතති මට්ටම් පවත්වා ගැනීම සඳහා මග පෙන්වීමක් අපේක්ෂා කරන පුද්ගලයින්ට අගනා අවස්ථාවක් විය.

இன்றைய வேகமான உலகில், மன அழுத்தம் பல தனிநபர்களுக்கு மிகவும் பொதுவான துணையாகிவிட்டது. மன அழுத்த முகாமைத்துவம் மற்றும் மன நலத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்ந்து, டுகெதர் SL இன் டீம் காஷ்யபா, கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் முகாமைத்துவம் மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்தின் Rotaract Club உடன் இணைந்து, ‘Tranquilize’ என்ற தலைப்பில் மாற்றியமைக்கும் மனநல விழிப்புணர்வு அமர்வை ஏற்பாடு செய்தது. மார்ச் 10, 2023 அன்று, பிரபலமான வீடியோ கான்பரன்சிங் பிளாட்ஃபார்ம் Zoom வழியாக நடைபெற்ற இந்த அமர்வு, மன அழுத்தத்தை நிர்வகிப்பதற்கான மதிப்புமிக்க நுண்ணறிவு மற்றும் நடைமுறைக் கருவிகளுடன் பங்கேற்பாளர்களை சித்தப்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டது. 40 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஆர்வமுள்ள பங்கேற்பாளர்களுடன், ஆரோக்கியமான மன அழுத்த நிலைகளைப் பராமரிப்பதற்கான வழிகாட்டுதலைத் தேடும் தனிநபர்களுக்கு இந்த நிகழ்வு ஒரு விலைமதிப்பற்ற வாய்ப்பாக நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டது.

Ms. Maya Dissanayaka, an esteemed guest speaker renowned for her expertise in stress management, took center stage during the ‘Tranquilize’ session. With her wealth of knowledge and experience, she effectively conveyed the importance of recognizing and addressing stress in our lives. Ms. Dissanayaka’s presence and insights made her an ideal choice for this event, providing participants with valuable strategies to navigate stressful situations while fostering resilience and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

The session began with a compelling 50-minute presentation by Ms. Dissanayaka, delving into various aspects of stress management. She emphasized the significance of self-awareness in identifying stress triggers and highlighted the adoption of healthy coping mechanisms. Participants were guided through practical stress management techniques such as mindfulness, deep breathing exercises, and effective time management strategies.

One of the highlights of the session was the engaging Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to interact directly with Ms. Dissanayaka. The discussion covered important topics such as device addiction and mental health in the workplace.
