BEYOND is a splendid collaboration between the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya and the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance to upgrade the view and the public image of the development within the Rotaract movement among the community including both Rotaractors and Non- Rotaractors.
BEYOND යනු රොටරැක්ටර් සහ රොටරැක්ටර් නොවන ප්රජාව අතර රොටරැක්ට් ව්යාපාරය තුළ සංවර්ධනය පිළිබඳ දැක්ම සහ මහජන ප්රතිරූපය වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම සඳහා කැලණිය විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය සහ කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය අතර විශිෂ්ට සහයෝගීතාවයකි.
BEYOND என்பது ரோட்ராக்டர்கள் மற்றும் ரோட்டாராக்டர்கள் உட்பட சமூகத்தினரிடையே ரோட்ராக்ட் இயக்கத்தின் வளர்ச்சியின் பார்வை மற்றும் பொதுப் பிம்பத்தை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக களனி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ரோட்ராக்ட் கிளப் மற்றும் கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் முகாமைத்துவ மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்தின் ரோட்ராக்ட் கிளப் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு இடையேயான ஒரு அற்புதமான ஒத்துழைப்பாகும்.
Beyond is a special initiative that recognizes Rotaractors’ outstanding accomplishments and their path to greatness. The project used interviews to document the amazing tales of individuals who have made a difference in a variety of professions. This action led to the creation of a magazine that highlights their accomplishments. Others in society are encouraged to do this as well. This project is a digitally published collection of texts.
Inspiring adventures and stories of people like Rtr. Tevin Perera, Rtr. Ruzni Faik, Rtr. Yaasir Nazmi, Rtr. Verosha Abeygunawardana, Rtr. Akhila Wijethunga, and Rtr. Mohamed Husni are explored in the project. The journal is intended to cover a wide range of topics, from their personal development and how they have overcome obstacles to displaying the profound impact they have had on society. This gives a comprehensive view of their path in showcasing.
The conversations highlighted the possibilities for good change in communities also Rotaractors’ transformative ability. Readers who read “Beyond” are inspired to follow their own passions, build their own uniqueness, face to life challenges with heads up, build their own comfort zones and improve their own lives as well as the lives of others around. The project wants to inspire and empower people to realize their full potential and strive for greatness by sharing these experiences.
In my point of view, brainwashing that is positive is beneficial. Positive thinking eventually becomes our default mode as we get acclimated to it. And that is an advantage of reading success stories.
I’ve heard of this golden lines.
“Great readers make great writers; whilst great writers make great communicators. And great communicators make great persuaders.”
And you know what great persuaders make?
They make great societies. That’s what this world truly needs. Reading empowers a human to think and re-think.
Just over the past month, I’ve delighted in composing for “Beyond” magazine. And presently I’m getting enjoyment out of perusing it. Readers of this magazine, some might like more and some might like it less. But the joint committee all took went on an adventurous experience to form this project process into published magazine.
This magazine isn’t just about a path for information exchange and involvements sharing among fellow Rotaractors, but also an motivation for others to endeavor towards fabulousness in their Rotaract journey. Hence “BEYOND” the esteemed magazine could be a compilation of rousing and sincere recollections of our own Rotaractors.
