The 14th Charter Day Celebrations of the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance was held on the 12th of November 2023, at The Embazzy Colombo 07, from 6.00 P.M. onwards, with the participation of nearly 30 members of RACUOCFMF. This annual celebration organized under the Club Service Avenue marks the club’s birthday and stepping into a new Rotaract year, offering a meaningful opportunity for reflection and anticipation as we navigate the journey ahead. For this year’s Charter Day, the Wild West theme set the stage for an unforgettable night. The infectious spirit of the theme kept the celebration alive well into the midnight hours. To kick off the event, our beloved President, Rtr. Vishvi Wijethunga, and Secretary, Rtr. Melisha Gonaduwa ceremoniously cut the birthday cake.
Following the cake-cutting ceremony, the festivities escalated into an epic extravaganza filled with laughter. A lively and amusing game unfolded, challenging participants to guess songs. Each player had to convey the essence of a song given by the opposition team to their teammates without uttering a word, and then the team had to guess the song. The victory in this entertaining game went to the team led by our President, Rtr. Vishvi, while the team led by our Secretary, Rtr. Melisha found themselves on the losing side after a closely contested game. The festivities persisted until midnight, extending beyond dinner, marked by the sharing of old stories and engaging conversations among the members, directors, and executive committee members.
As we celebrate 14 years of dedicated service to Rotaract, contributing to several projects meant to improve society, our experience serves as a basis for future improvements to our club. These years of commitment lay the groundwork for ongoing improvements, impacting both our local community and the nation. We aim to continue the strong bond within the Rotaract Club of the University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance, by staying true to our mission of assisting communities in need, generating fresh ideas, and raising awareness of essential community needs in the years ahead.
කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ Rotaract සමාජයේ 14 වැනි වරලත් දින සැමරුම් උත්සවය 2023 නොවැම්බර් මස 12 වැනි දින කොළඹ 07 Embazzyදී සවස 6.00 සිට පැවැත්විණි. ඒ RACUOCFMF හි සාමාජිකයින් 30කට ආසන්න පිරිසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙනනි. Club Service Avenue යටතේ සංවිධානය කරන ලද මෙම වාර්ෂික සැමරුම සමාජයේ උපන්දිනය සනිටුහන් කරමින් නව රොටරැක්ට් වර්ෂයකට පා තැබු අතර, අප ඉදිරි ගමනේ සැරිසැරීමේදී ආවර්ජනය කිරීමට සහ අපේක්ෂාව සඳහා අර්ථවත් අවස්ථාවක් ලබා දුනි. මෙම වසරේ වරලත් දිනය සඳහා, Wild West තේමාව අමතක නොවන රාත්‍රියක් සඳහා වේදිකාව සකසුවේ ය. උත්සවය ආරම්භ කිරීම සඳහා අපගේ ආදරණීය සභාපතිනි Rtr. Vishvi wijethunga, සහ ලේකම්, Rtr. Melisha Gonaduwa උත්සවාකාරයෙන් උපන්දින කේක් කැපුහ.
කේක් කැපීමේ උත්සවයෙන් අනතුරුව සිනහවෙන් පිරුණු අතිවිශිෂ්ට සංග්‍රහයක් දක්වා උත්සවය උත්සන්න විය. සජීවී හා විනෝදජනක ක්‍රීඩාවක් දිග හැරුණේ , ගීත අනුමාන කිරීමට සහභාගිවන්නන්ට අභියෝග කරමිනි . සෑම ක්‍රීඩකයෙකුටම විරුද්ධ කණ්ඩායම විසින් ලබා දුන් ගීතයක හරය වචනයක් හෝ නොකියා තම කණ්ඩායමේ සගයන්ට පැවසීමට සිදු වූ අතර පසුව කණ්ඩායමට ගීතය අනුමාන කිරීමට සිදු විය. මෙම විනෝදාත්මක තරගයේ ජයග්‍රහණය හිමිවූයේ අපේ සභාපතිතුමිය Rtr. Vishvi ප්‍රමුඛ කණ්ඩායමටයි.ඒ අපේ ලේකම්, Rtr. Melisha ප්‍රමුඛ කන්ඩයමෙ කරටකර තරඟයකින් පසුවය . උත්සවය මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රිය දක්වා පැවති අතර, රාත්‍රී භෝජන සංග්‍රහයෙන් ඔබ්බට මෙය දිගු වුයේ සාමාජිකයින්, අධ්‍යක්ෂවරුන් සහ විධායක කමිටු සාමාජිකයින් අතර පැරණි කථා බෙදාගැනීමෙන් සහ සංවාදවල නිරත වීමෙනි .
සමාජය වැඩිදියුණු කිරීමට අදහස් කරන ව්‍යාපෘති කිහිපයකට දායක වෙමින් Rotaract වෙත වසර 14 ක කැපවූ සේවය සමරන මේ මොහොතේ, අපගේ අත්දැකීම් අපගේ සමාජයට අනාගත වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම් සඳහා පදනමක් ලෙස කටයුතු කරයි. මෙම වසරවල කැපවීම අපගේ ප්‍රාදේශීය ප්‍රජාව සහ ජාතිය යන දෙකටම බලපාන අඛණ්ඩ වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම් සඳහා පදනම සැපවුවෙය. අවශ්‍යතා ඇති ප්‍රජාවන්ට උපකාර කිරීම, නැවුම් අදහස් ජනනය කිරීම සහ අත්‍යවශ්‍ය ප්‍රජා අවශ්‍යතා පිළිබඳව දැනුවත් කිරීම වැනි අපගේ මෙහෙවරට විශ්වාසවන්තව සිටීමෙන්, කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ සහ මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ Rotaract සමාජය තුළ ශක්තිමත් බැඳීම දිගටම කරගෙන යාම අපගේ අරමුණයි.
கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழக முகாமைத்துவ மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்தின் Rotaract Club இன் 14வது பட்டய தின கொண்டாட்டங்கள் 2023 நவம்பர் 12 ஆம் திகதி Embazzy கொழும்பு 07 ல், மாலை 6.00 மணி முதல் RACUOCFMF இன் கிட்டத்தட்ட 30 உறுப்பினர்களின் பங்கேற்புடன் இடம்பெற்றது. கிளப் சர்வீஸ் அவென்யூவின் கீழ் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட இந்த வருடாந்திர கொண்டாட்டம், கிளப்பின் பிறந்தநாளையும் மற்றும் புதிய ரோட்டராக்ட் ஆண்டில் அடியெடுத்து வைக்கிறதையும் குறிக்கிறது. இது நாம் முன்னோக்கி செல்லும் பயணத்தில் பிரதிபலிக்கும் மற்றும் எதிர்பார்ப்புக்கான அர்த்தமுள்ள வாய்ப்பை வழங்குகிறது. இந்த ஆண்டு பட்டய தினத்திற்கு, Wild West தீம் மறக்க முடியாத இரவுக்கு களம் அமைத்தது. கருப்பொருளின் தொற்று உணர்வு கொண்டாட்டத்தை நள்ளிரவு வரை உயிர்ப்புடன் வைத்திருந்தது. இந்நிகழ்வை ஆரம்பிப்பதற்கு, எமது அன்புக்குரிய தலைவர் Rtr. Vishvi தலைமையிலான அணிக்கு சென்றது. எங்கள் செயலாளர் தலைமையில் குழு, Rtr. Melisha ஒரு நெருக்கமான போட்டிக்குப் பிறகு தோல்வியடைந்தனர். விழாக்கள் நள்ளிரவு வரை நீடித்தன, இரவு உணவைத் தாண்டி, பழைய கதைகளைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்வது மற்றும் உறுப்பினர்கள், இயக்குநர்கள் மற்றும் செயற்குழு உறுப்பினர்களிடையே உரையாடல்களில் ஈடுபடுவது ஆகியவற்றால் நிறைந்திருந்தது.
சமூகத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்தில் பல திட்டங்களுக்கு பங்களித்து, Rotaract க்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட 14 ஆண்டுகால சேவையை நாங்கள் கொண்டாடும் போது, எங்கள் கிளப்பின் எதிர்கால மேம்பாடுகளுக்கு எங்கள் அனுபவம் அடிப்படையாக அமைகிறது. இந்த வருடங்களின் அர்ப்பணிப்பு, நமது உள்ளூர் சமூகம் மற்றும் தேசம் இரண்டிலும் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் மற்றும் தொடர்ந்து மேம்பாடுகளுக்கு அடித்தளமாக அமைகிறது. தேவைப்படும் சமூகங்களுக்கு உதவுதல், புதிய யோசனைகளை உருவாக்குதல் மற்றும் அத்தியாவசிய சமூகத் தேவைகள் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துதல் போன்றவற்றின் மூலம் கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் Rotaract Club, முகாமைத்துவ மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்திற்குள் வலுவான பிணைப்பைத் தொடர்வதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளோம்.
