The Hindi Film industry in India is deemed as Bollywood. It has been the home of entertainment not only for Indians but also for a wider audience worldwide. The 24th of September is hailed as World Bollywood Day in order to celebrate Bollywood.
Bollywood got its name since it was similar to Hollywood and was based in the city of Bombay which is now known as Mumbai. At present it’s far ahead of Hollywood in terms of the number of films being produced annually. The first Bollywood movie was Raja Harishchandra which was released back in 1913 and since then the industry has never looked back. Thousands of movies are produced each year in many genres including romantic, comedy, horror, action, drama, and biographies.
Over the years Bollywood has grown to be an obsession for its fans. It’s not merely a way of storytelling yet has a lot more to add towards it. Music is a vital element in Hindi movies. It adds life to the story. Dance is also another key factor which makes the Hindi films stand out among the rest. Each and every one of us has listened to Bollywood music and may have grooved on its tunes as well. Moreover, the lavish sets and the iconic dresses seen in the movies are a sight to behold. All these aspects together make up Bollywood. This industry has also been providing a livelihood for many people. From the spot boys, light men, technicians and junior artists to A-list superstars, many people have survived because of this industry.

These stars enjoy massive stardom and it’s not less than a festival in India when their movies get released.
