The Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance (RACUOCFMF) is one of the five Rotaract clubs based in the University of Colombo and was established in the year 2010 with a vision to embark upon a journey of community service, self-development, greater cultural understanding, and sustainability. RACUOCFMF has successfully completed many award-winning projects, guided by the theme and belief that “Teamwork makes the Dream Work”. RACUOCFMF has been highlighted as one of the best clubs in the Rotaract District 3220 owing to the initiation of many projects of differing scales and impact across all avenues of service. While focusing on providing a lending hand to various communities in the society, the club wishes to continue its journey of service with the passionate aim of uplifting the lives of our fellow men, women, and children in the society.
Project “දිරිය” is a public relations initiative organised by the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance. The aim of the project is to uplift individual entrepreneurs with unique capabilities that strive hard to make ends meet. Entrepreneurs have a huge impact and a big role to play in the growth of a country. Our goal is to help out talented and competent entrepreneurs from all over Sri Lanka and pave the way for a better future.
16 deserving small-scale entrepreneurs, who are in search of support to uplift their small venture, are expected to benefit from the project. Primarily support will be extended in the form of publicity through extensive PR campaigns, which started off this month, and has already gained a lot of attention. We have also planned to partner up with renowned media firms in the country in order to reach out to the public and to raise funds. The club would intend to solve any difficulty faced by these individuals through material or monetary donations raised, after identifying the specific needs and requirements of each individual to carry out his venture. Apart from this, the necessary mentoring will be provided through industry experts. Donations will be raised through a club charity project, public donors and company sponsorships.
We would be most grateful if you could aid in this great cause by providing us with monetary or material sponsorship. As a sponsor, you would not only be contributing to a good cause, but you would also be able to gain publicity through the promotional material while establishing a positive image as a reputable socially responsible entity. We would highly appreciate any sort of monetary or non-monetary sponsorships and donations as ultimately, the contributions will be directed to uplift an entrepreneur whose family is dependent on the particular venture, and eventually would create an everlasting impact on society.
