Congratulations to the two outstanding chairpersons of the “Vanajeeviyo 3.0 ” project, Rtr. Sanduni Wickramarachchi and Rtr. Dion Gomes, on being named Rotaractors of the month of June! Their exceptional leadership, teamwork, and dependability were pivotal in the success of this ambitious environmental project, which spanned five impactful phases: creating a butterfly garden, rescuing turtles, planting trees, organizing a dog adoption day, and conducting a mangrove plantation.Rtr. Sanduni’s leadership and organizational skills were instrumental in guiding the “Vanajeeviyo” project through its various phases. Her dedication to environmental causes and her ability to inspire and mobilize volunteers ensured the project’s success. Sanduni’s meticulous planning and coordination with various stakeholders, including environmental organizations and university authorities, were crucial in executing each phase seamlessly. Her enthusiasm and commitment to making a positive impact on the environment were contagious, motivating the entire team to give their best.
Rtr. Dion’s dependability and collaborative spirit were key to the success of the “Vanajeeviyo” project. His hands-on approach and problem-solving skills helped him navigate the challenges that arose during each phase. Dion’s ability to work effectively with team members and external partners ensured smooth operations and high-quality outcomes. His passion for environmental conservation and his proactive involvement in activities like turtle rescue and mangrove plantation made a significant difference in achieving the project’s goals.Together, Rtr. Sanduni and Rtr. Dion formed a dynamic leadership duo that drove the “Vanajeeviyo” project to new heights.
