Congratulations to the four exceptional chairpersons of the “What Next” project, Rtr. Lihansa Edirisinghe, Rtr. Subhanu Dissanayake, Rtr. Ushanth Jaykumar, and Rtr. Senumee Herath, on being named Rotaractors of the Quarter 4! Their remarkable leadership, teamwork, and dependability were instrumental in the success of this multi-phased project, culminating in the largest career fair ever held at our university.Rtr. Ushanth Jaykumar demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication throughout the “What Next” project. His meticulous planning and execution ensured that each phase was well-coordinated and met the project’s goals. Ushanth’s enthusiasm and commitment to the project were evident in his interactions with corporate partners and team members alike. His ability to manage multiple tasks, PR skills, and maintain high standards of quality was instrumental in making the career fair a resounding success.
Rtr. Lihansa Edirisinghe’s leadership and commitment were pivotal in steering the “What Next” project through its various phases. She exhibited exceptional organizational skills, ensuring that each phase was executed flawlessly. Lihansa’s ability to collaborate effectively with different corporate partners was vital in maintaining strong relationships and securing their participation. Her enthusiasm and proactive approach inspired the team, making her an invaluable asset to the project’s success. Rtr. Lihansa also co-chaired one of the FMF blog’s most significant projects Wordsville 4.o alongside her responsibilities of being the What Next Chair as well. She overlooked the finances and logistics of the award ceremony and also overlooked the large-scale submissions that the competition generated through school and university level submissions in all three languages. Her ability to balance both of these projects simultaneously needs to be applauded.Rtr. Subhanu Dissanayake’s dependability and industrious nature played a crucial role in the project. He was a constant source of support, taking on significant responsibilities and ensuring that tasks were completed efficiently. His attention to detail and problem-solving skills helped the team navigate challenges smoothly. His ability to work collaboratively and motivate others made him an excellent team player and leader, contributing greatly to the success of the career fair.
Rtr. Senumi Herath’s reliability and proactive approach were key to the project’s achievements. She excelled in coordinating with corporate partners and managing logistics, ensuring that each phase was executed seamlessly. Senumee’s strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure made her an essential part of the team. Her dedication and hard work were crucial in bringing the career fair to life, making it a memorable event for all participants.Together, Rtr. Lihansa, Rtr. Subhanu, Rtr. Ushanth, and Rtr. Senumee formed a dynamic and cohesive leadership team. Their collective efforts and unwavering commitment to the “What Next” project not only ensured its success but also set a new standard for career fairs at our university. Their ability to lead, collaborate, and inspire others was evident throughout the project’s seven phases, making them truly deserving of the Rotaractors of the Quarter recognition.
