A Celebration of Legacy and New Beginnings: The 35th Rotaract District Assembly

Every journey, no matter how grand or humble its beginning, eventually reaches its destination. For Rotaractors however, every step of that journey is a moment to cherish, a lesson to embrace and a memory to honor. The 35th Rotaract District Assembly, held with grace, was a perfect culmination of such a journey a space where stories were shared, achievements recognized and a new chapter unfolded.

On the 28th of June 2025, at the prestigious Monarch Imperial, Rotary International District 3220 brought together the vibrant energy of its Rotaract community to mark the dawn of a new Rotaract year. This milestone event was not just a formality; it was a celebration of service, leadership and unwavering dedication. The election and appointment of the new District Steering Committee for the year 2025 – 2026 stood as the centerpiece of the day, symbolizing the passing of the torch from one legacy to the next.

At the heart of these celebrations stood RACUOCFMF, once again proving their mettle and spirit. Through passion and hard work, the club captured hearts and headlines, walking away with a phenomenal 13 awards and multiple recognitions that reflect their excellence across every avenue of service and leadership.

With each post, the team turns narratives into movements and updates into memories. This award stands as a testament to their consistent dedication to crafting meaningful content that resonates deeply within the community.

As we bid farewell to the outgoing leadership of Rtn. Rtr. PHF. PP Shanel Mendis (DRR for 2024- 2025), whose vision and dedication elevated the district to new heights, the mantle was passed to Rtr. PP Nazmi Mahmood, who was officially collared as the District Rotaract Representative for 2025 – 2026.In his first official address as DRR, Rtr. Nazmi shared a stirring message of inspiration and unity,

“Let your leadership be a source of inspiration, and embrace every experience, both the successes and the setbacks as opportunities to grow. Our strength lies in our diversity, and through collaboration, we build a broader global perspective. Together, let’s lead with heart and shape the future of Rotaract in RID 3220.”

With these words, the tone for the year ahead was set -one of compassion, collaboration and collective ambition.

As the curtain rises on a new Rotaract year, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Rtr. PP Nazmi Mahmood and the incoming District Steering Committee of 2025-26. May your leadership inspire, your vision uplift and your actions create ripples of lasting change. We wish you strength, clarity and unity as you lead RID 3220 into its next era of excellence. The road ahead is full of promise and with leaders like you at the helm, we are confident that the best is yet to come.

35 වන රොටරැක් දිස්ත්‍රික් රැස්වීම ,

සෑම ගමනකටම නිහතමානි ආරම්භයක්, කුතුහලය පිරුණු ගමනක් සහ අපේක්ෂිත ගමනාන්තයක් සතුයි. රොටරැක්ට් වරුන්ගේ රොටරැක්ට් ගමනද එසේය. මේ ගමන යම් හෙයකින් හෝ වෙනස් වනවා නම් ඒ අපේක්ෂිත ගමනාන්තය ගමනාන්තයක්ම නොවිමයි. මන්ද සතුට පිරුණු මතක, අද්දැකීම්, සුහදකම්, හිතවත්කම් මේ සියල්ල ගමනාන්තය නොව තවමත් ගමනෙ යනවා යැයි හැගෙන දැනෙන කාරණා වීමය. දැනුම හුවමාරු කරගනිමින් අත්වැල් බැදගන්නා රොටරැක්වරුන් සෑම විටම නව ගමනක් අරඹන්නෙ වැළද ගැනීමකින්, ජයග්‍රහණ සැමරීමකින්ය. 35 වන රොටරැක් දිස්ත්‍රික් රැස්වීමද එවැනි වූ ආදරණීය සැමරුමක්, ඇරඹුමක් විය. පැහැදිලි ඉලක්කයක් සහිතව අභිමානනිය ඇරඹුමක් සදහා වෙන්වුණු අවකාශයක උත්කර්ෂවත් කූටප්‍රාප්ති උළෙලක් ලෙස සැමරු මෙහි සාඩම්බර ජයග්‍රහණ අත්පොළසන් සමගින් සැමරුහ.

නව රොටරැක්ට් වර්ෂයක් ආරම්භ වීම රොටරැක්ට් ප්‍රජාවගේ ශක්තියෙත් සුහදත්වයෙත් යළි පිබිදීමකි. 2025 ජුනි මස 28 වන දින Monarch Imperial හි පැවති Rotary International District 3220 ද එවැනි වූ නව ඇරඹුමක් සනිටුහන් කළ යළි පිබිදීමකි. ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම මේ අවස්ථාව න්‍යාය පත්‍රයකට යටත්ව විධිමත් මෙහෙයවීමක් නොව නායකත්වය සහ කැපවීම සැමරීමක් සහ සුහද පිළිගැනීමක් ය. 2025-2026 නව රොටරැක්ට් වසරට දිස්ත්‍රික් කමිටු සාමාජිකයන් තෝරා පත් කරගැනීම කේන්ද්‍ර අරමුණ කරගත් මෙම අවස්ථාවේදී සැබෑවටම සිදුවුයේ පරපුරෙන් පරපුරට පැවරීමක් සිදුවන්නා සේ නව පිරිසකට නව රොටරැක්ට් වසර භාර කිරීමයි.

කෙසේ හෝ මෙහි සියලු පීළිගැනීම් සැමරුම් අතර කැපී පෙනුනේ RACUOCFMF සමාජයයි. ඊට හේතු වූයේ ඔවුන් තුළ පැවති උත්හසය, කැපවීම සහ ක්‍රියාශිලිත්වය මත දැක්වූ දක්ෂතාවයන් සහ 13 කට ආසන්නව ලබා ගත් විශිෂ්ට සම්මානයන්ය. කා අතරත් කතාබහට ලක්වූ පිළිගැනීමක් නිරායාසයෙන්ම RACUOCFMF සාමාජීකයන් හට ඒ මොහොතේ ලැබී තිබුණි. එමගින් නැවත නැවතත් ඔවුන් තමන්ගේ විශිෂ්ටත්වය නිහතමානිව සැමට පෙන්වා දුන්හ.

එසේ RACUOCFMF ප්‍රජාව විසින් ලබාගත් සම්මාන සහ ගෞරවයෙන් මෙසේය.

ඉහත කී කැපී පෙනෙන ජයග්‍රහණ සියල්ලක් අතරේ ඉහළින්ම කැපී පෙනෙනුයේ FMF Blog වෙත පිරිනැමුණු රිදී සම්මානයයි. මෙමගින් RACUOCFMF සහ FMF Blog සදහාද වටිනා ප්‍රතිරූපයක් නිර්මාණය විය. මේ සියල්ලක් තුළින් දිස් වනුයේ Blog සමාජිකයන්ගෙ සුවිශේෂී බවත් නිර්මාණශිලි බවත්ය. FMF Blog RACUOCFMF හි හදවත ලෙස සලකන සමාජිකයන් පිරිසක් ලෙස, Blog කණ්ඩායම වඩාත් ආකර්ෂණීයව තම රොටරැක්ට් ප්‍රජාවත් පිටත ප්‍රජාවත් ආමන්ත්‍රණය කර තිබේ. හරබර ලිපි, නිවැරැදි වාර්තා, විචිත්‍රවත් නිර්මාණ මේ සියල්ලක් උපරිම මට්ටමෙන් එළි දක්වමින් සියලු දෙනා සමඟ සහ සම්බන්ධතා නිර්මාණය කරමින්, වැඩි දියුණු කරමින්, ඔවුන් කටයුතු කර ඇත.

සියලු ජයග්‍රහණ සමග 2024-2025 රොටරැක්ට් වසරට සමුදීමේදි දිස්ත්‍රික් මට්ටමෙන් ඒ වසර මෙතරම් ඉහළ තලයක ඔසවා තබන්නට වෙහෙස වුණු ඒ වසර DRR වූ Rtn. Rtr. PHF. PP ශනෙල් මෙන්ඩිස් හට විශේෂ ගෞරවනීය සමුගැනීමක් සමගින් නව වසරේ(2025-2026) DRR ලෙස Rtr. PP නාස්මි මහමූඩ් හට ආදරණීය පිළිගැනීමක් ලබාදුනි. මෙහිදී ඇගේ පළමු පණිවිඩය ලෙස පහත අදහසක් සියල්ලන්ටම ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදි.

“ඔබේ නායකත්වය විශාල අභිප්‍රේරණයක්. මුහුණදෙන සෑම අත්දැකීමක්ම වැළඳ ගනිමු,

සාර්ථකත්වයන් සහ පසුබෑම් දෙකම වර්ධනය වීමට ලැබෙන අවස්ථා ලෙස සලකමු. අපගේ ශක්තිය පවතින්නේ අපගේ විවිධත්වය තුළ වන අතර සහයෝගීතාවය තුළින් අපි පුළුල් ගෝලීය දර්ශනයක් ගොඩනඟමු. එක්ව, හදවතින්ම නායකත්වය දී

RID 3220 හි Rotaract හි අනාගතය හැඩගස්වමු.”

මේ වටිනා අදහස නව වසරට සුබදායී හැගුම් පිරුණු එකක් වුණු අතර එකමුතුකම පිරුණු, අරමුණු සහිත ඇරඹුමක් යන හැඟීම සියල්ලන්ට ඇති කළහ.

එසේ 2025-2026 නව රොටරැක්ට් වසර අරඹන්ට පෙළ ගැසෙන මොහොතේ අපි සියලු දෙනාම නව DRR Rtr. PP නාස්මි මහමූඩ් ඇතුළු දිස්ත්‍රික් මෙහෙයුම් කමිටුවට හෘදයාංගම සුභපැතුම් එකතු කර සිටිමු. ඒ වගේම ඔවුන් සියළු දෙනාගේම නායකත්වය න් විශිෂ්ට වෙතැයි අපේක්ෂා කරමින් පැහැදිලි අරමුණකින් සාර්ථක වසරක් උදෙසා කටයුතු කරතැයි විශ්වාසය තබමු.රොටරැක්හි පැවැත්මෙහි සුබ ලකුණු සිත් තුළ උපදවා ගනිමු. RID 3320 හි මීළග විශිෂ්ටතා යුගය නිර්මාණය කරමින් ඉදිරියට ගෙන යාමේදී ඊට අවශ්‍ය ශක්තිය පැහැදිලි මාවත නිසැකවම ලැබේවයි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරමු.හොදම දේ තවත් ඉදිරියට යැයි බලා සිටිමින් පොරොන්දු ගොන්නක් සමග නව කමිටුව වැනි විශිෂ්ට නායකයන්ට සුන්දර වසරක් නිර්මාණය කරන්න ධෛර්යය පවතින බව තරයෙ විශ්වාස කරමින් නැවත නැවතත් සුබ පැතුම් එක් කරමු.

මේ සියල්ලක් මැද RACUOCFMF හි විශිෂ්ඨතාවයද සම්මාන මතම නොව තව තවත් ඉදිරියට එහි සමාජීකයන්ගෙ නායකත්වය තුළින්, පන්නරය තුළින්, නිර්මාණශීලී බලපෑම තුළින් ඉලක්ක කරා ළගා වන බව විශ්වාසය. තව තවත් සම්මාන ඔවුන් සතු වන බව නිසැකය. Blog කණ්ඩායම ද ඊට නොපිරිහෙලා කැපවෙන බව සාක්ෂිය. නිර්මාණශීලීත්වය තුලින් පරිවර්තනයන් ගොඩ නැගීමට, නොපෙනෙන සේවයක් ඉටු කිරීමට ඔවුන් ඉදිරියටත් කොන්දේසි විරහිතව සියල්ලන් සමග බැදී සීටි. ඔවුන්ගේ ආශාව කැපවීමෙන් ජයග්‍රහී යථාර්ථයක් කර ගනීවි. Blog කණ්ඩායම RACUOCFMF නව වසරෙත් ඉහළම තැන රදවාවි.

එසේනම් මෙතැන් සිට බලවත් නව ඇරඹුමක් සහිතව දීප්තිමත් රොටරැක්ට් වසර ඉදිරියට ගලාගෙන යාවී.
