What has been the most challenging role or responsibility you have handled in Rotaract?

I would say it’s this year on the District Steering Committee. It has been very challenging because we are dealing with high-school-level positions compared to a normal Rotaract club position. However, it has also been the most interesting role I’ve held.

How has Rotaract changed your perspective on leadership?

Drastically. Rotaract makes you a “people person”. By talking to someone, you learn their strengths and weaknesses. When you understand your team like that, you can guide them effectively and guiding a team is the true secret of leadership.

What achievement in your Rotaract journey are you most proud of?

The people. Beyond accolades or awards, I am most proud of the volume of people I have met over my past eight years in Rotaract.

What kind of people drain your energy, and who boosts it?

People who focus only on negatives and cannot find” positiveness” in small things drain me instantly. On the other hand, people who are simply themselves no “fake,” no act are the ones who boost my energy.

What is one lesson Rotaract taught you that no classroom could?

That whatever seed you plant today will definitely grow. It will take some time, but it will definitely grow.
