My journey with the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance began in my first year of university, when I joined as a prospect member with curiosity, hope and desire to grow. At that time, I never imagined how deeply this club would shape my life, my values and my future.
From being a committee member to chairing impactful projects, every step of my journey allowed me to discover my potential and strengthen my confidence. Rotaract gave me countless opportunities to lead, to serve, and to learn. Together, we carried out meaningful projects that created positive changes in our environment, society and community. Some of these initiatives touched my heart deeply, teaching me empathy, kindness and the true meaning of service above self.
Through every meeting, project, challenge and success, I grew not only as a leader but also as a person. I learned to work with diverse individuals, communicate with purpose and face responsibilities with courage. Along the way, I was blessed with friendships that made my university life more colorful, memorable and joyful.
In RI Year 2024/25, I was honored to serve as the Co-Director of the Public Relations Avenue, where I further developed my passion for creativity and communication. Today, as the Vice President for RI Year 2025/26, I stand with immense gratitude and pride, carrying forward the values and spirit that Rotaract has instilled in me.
I sincerely thank my mentors, fellow board members and every Rotaractor who walked beside me on this journey. Your support, trust and encouragement mean more to me than words can express.
RACUOCFMF has been my second home, my training ground and my source of inspiration. I will forever cherish this journey.
