What is one valuable lesson you’ve learned about team coordination and delegation while managing your board duties this month?

I’ve learned that effective team coordination comes from clear communication and setting realistic expectations. Delegating tasks based on each member’s strengths while trusting them to take responsibility helps the team work more efficiently and ensures that responsibilities are shared rather than falling on a few individuals.

— Rtr. Thilakshila Dayananda

How do you balance your personal academic/career responsibilities with your active leadership role on the board?

As a second-year undergraduate and Director of the Digital Communications Avenue, I balance my academics and Rotaract activities through proper time management. I prioritize my studies when needed and dedicate my available time to my Rotaract responsibilities. I believe both roles are important for my personal growth and I always try to fulfil my responsibilities effectively.
