1. In what ways has your involvement in Rotaract contributed to your personal development and the enhancement of your leadership skills?
Talking about the role of the presidency as a leadership position, it’s truly a mix of emotions. You’re constantly challenged, but those challenges help you grow and become a better version of yourself. From a leadership perspective, it teaches you how to work with a wide range of people and handle different situations. You learn the importance of managing members, understanding their strengths, and navigating the dynamics of a diverse team. It’s a role that pushes you to grow in both personal and professional aspects.
2. What is the most rewarding aspect of being an Rotaractor?
I would say that the most rewarding aspect of being a Rotaractor isn’t necessarily about the awards or recognitions you receive at events like the Rotaract Assembly. Rather, it’s the personal satisfaction that comes from volunteering and making a meaningful impact. At its core, Rotaract is about service, and the true reward lies in the fulfillment you feel after contributing to a cause or helping others. That sense of satisfaction is what truly motivates many of us. Of course, that dedication often translates into impactful projects, which can then lead to formal recognition but the real award is the difference you make and the sense of purpose you gain through the experience.
