PP Jude Shannon, who brought both authenticity and depth to the conversation. In this episode, the discussion unfolds through an engaging and lively exchange, highlighting experiences, perspectives and valuable lessons that resonate with every Rotaractor.

Get ready for a conversation filled with insight, relatability and inspiration. Here are some questions we asked, along with the thoughts he shared.

  1. What is the biggest lesson that you have learned as a Rotaractor?

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to truly enjoy and cherish every moment. These experiences don’t come again, so it’s important to live in the present, appreciate what I have and make the most out of every opportunity while it lasts.

  1. Which project that you have done is closest to your heart?

One project that is really close to my heart goes back to my time as President in 2022–23. It was a project that left a lasting impact on me and shaped the way I view service.

We worked with a very rural school that had around 40 to 50 students and very limited facilities. During our visit, interacting with the children and seeing their day to day realities made me realize how different their lives were and how often we tend to take things for granted.

That experience became a turning point for me. It changed my perspective on service and helped me truly understand the impact Rotaract can create.

  1. How has Rotaract helped you grow as a leader?

Rotaract has helped me develop strong organizational skills and a sense of balance in my life. Managing Rotaract alongside my work and studies requires a high level of dedication and commitment, and through this, I’ve truly understood what it means to stay committed. It has also helped me learn how to carry myself professionally and maintain balance in different aspects of life, which has been an important part of my growth as a leader.

That brings us to the end of episode 03 of the Center stage 2026 Edition. Stay tuned for more inspiring conversations in the upcoming episodes.
