Honoured and Sealed – Most Outstanding Club Blog

Today, information is literally at our fingertips, and we can access it from anywhere using any device. With just a few taps, we can search through millions of websites all fighting tooth and nail for our attention. A treasured award was presented at the 32nd District Training Assembly for clubs dedicated to the art of blogging, under the award category of “The Most Outstanding Club Blog”. The awards were witnessed by the clubs that made their blog more than just a place to share, but to create a reflection of who they are and the impression they leave with their readers in order to have their unique voice heard. Accordingly, the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance, Rotaract Club of SLIIT and the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya won the Gold, Silver, and the bronze medals respectively.

වචනයේ පරිසමාප්ත අර්ථයෙන්ම, අද වන විට තොරතුරු ඇත්තේ අපගේ ඇඟිලි තුඩුවලය. අපට ඕනෑම ස්ථානයක සිට ඕනෑම උපාංගයක් භාවිතයෙන් තොරතුරු වෙත ප්‍රවේශ වීමේ හැකියාව ඇත. සුලු තට්ටු කිරීම් කිහිපයකින් වෙබ් අඩවි මිලියන ගණනක් හරහා අපට අවශ්‍ය සියලුම තොරතුරු සොයාගත හැකිය. 32 වැනි දිස්ත්‍රික් පුහුණු සමුළුවේදී, “The Most Outstanding Club Blog” යන සම්මාන කාණ්ඩය යටතේ බ්ලොග් කලාව වෙනුවෙන් කැප වූ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජ සඳහා ඉතා වටිනා සම්මාන පිරිනමන ලදී. එහිදී, තම බ්ලොග් බෙදාහදා ගැනීමේ අරමුණට පමණක් සීමා නොවී, තමන් කවුරුන්ද යන්න පිළිබඳවත් තම සුවිශේෂී හඬ ශ්‍රවණය කිරීමෙන් පාඨකයන් ලබන හැඟීමත් ප්‍රතිබිම්බයක් ලෙස නිර්මාණය කළ සමාජ විසින් මෙම සම්මාන දිනා ගැනීමට සමත් විය. ඒ අනුව කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මුල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය, SLIIT හි රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය සහ කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය පිළිවෙලින් රන්, රිදී සහ ලෝකඩ සම්මාන දිනා ගන්නා ලදී.

இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் அனைத்து தகவல்களும் எங்கள் விரல் நுனியில் காணக்கூடியதாய் உள்ளது மற்றும் எந்த சாதனத்தை பயன்படுத்தி எங்கிருந்தும் அதை அணுக முடியும். ஒரு சில நொடிகளில் மில்லியன் கணக்கான வலைத்தளங்களை நாங்கள் எங்கள் தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்ய தேடலாம். ஒரு பொக்கிஷமான விருது “மிகச்சிறந்த வலைப்பதிவுகள்” இன் விருது பிரிவின் கீழ், பிளாக்கிங் கலைஞருக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட கழகத்தின் 32 வது மாவட்ட பயிற்சிப் பட்டறையில் வழங்கப்பட்டது. சிறந்த வலைப்பதிவுகளை உருவாக்கிய வலைப்பதிவாளர்கள் தங்கள் வலைப்பதிவை பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளும் ஒரு இடத்தை, அவர்கள் யார் என்பதைப் பிரதிபலிப்பதற்கும், அவர்களது வாசகர்களுடனான வெளிப்பாடுகளை கேட்டுக் கொள்வதற்காகவும் உருவாக்கினார். இதன்படி, கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் முகாமைத்துவ மற்றும் நிதி பீட ரொட்டரி கழகம், SLIIT இன் ரொட்டரி கழகம் மற்றும் களனி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ரொட்டரி கழகம் முறையே தங்கம், வெள்ளி மற்றும் வெண்கலப் பதக்கங்களை வென்றன

Gold – The Blog of Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance

The official blog of Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance, which is often called the “FMF Blog”, was able to secure the Gold Award for the Most Outstanding Club Blog for the 7th consecutive year. The RI year 2021-22 had been a very special year for RACUOCFMF Blog for its never-ending celebrations and achievements. They reached greater heights with the introduction of novel initiatives, the addition of a creative twist to most of the previous initiatives as well as the formation of a blog team headed by the Co-Editors. Like a baby that is taken care of, fed, dressed up and personalized each and every day, the bloggers of RACUOCFMF were able to keep on that unique way of developing their FMF blog baby each year. The blog was able to publish 180+ articles with 9 magazines and attracted 270+ blog views while celebrating the “Blogbuster”, which was one of the most awaited celebrations of the bloggers at RACUOCFMF in serving more than one million readers of the blog. Signature Projects such as Center Stage, Honored and Sealed – Season 2, Wordsville attracted more attention and made the FMF blog shine brighter.

Silver – The Blog of Rotaract Club of SLIIT

The blog of Rotaract Club of SLIIT won the silver award for the Most Outstanding Blog at the 32^nd District Training Assembly. The RAC SLIIT blog is yet another attractive and colorful blog that keeps its readers hooked for its interesting content and magical graphics. The Project “Fifty Shades” is a signature project that is carried out by the bloggers which is a remote scavenger hunt, which is intended to be a lot of fun, with a variety of enjoyable riddles, clues, and fun challenges spread across three levels of the game. The project helped the club to expand the club’s social media presence, reach and the digital footprint. The blog also covers all its projects as well as important information through the Rotaract Knowledge Category and other creative posts which makes their blog a great place for all kinds of readers.

Bronze – The Blog of Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya

The blog of Rotaract club of University Of Kelaniya, which is one solid masterpiece with 400+ articles is a rainbow of a number of colors namely, project articles, articles on every single special day of the calendar and some which even the calendar missed to have it on, exclusive descriptions of the Board of Directors, Creative Corner which has enabled any Rotaractor of UOK to pen their thoughts in any language they wish to, and Rotaract facts along with SDG Goals and Rotary Focus Areas explained giving the readers a ride through these must know elements. It is not to forget that Senior Editor of the RI Year 2021-22 Rtr. Yashodya with her amazing team of Co-Editors pulled their blog with hard work, dedication, and innovation to a higher level winning them the Bronze Award at the 32nd District Training Assembly.
