Stepping into Rotaract during my first year of university was one of the most unexpected yet life-changing decisions I made. Out of all the places I could have stepped into, Rotaract became the place where I truly found myself. Walking into a room full of strangers at the beginning felt intimidating, but chairing my very first project, Charizo 3.0, changed everything for me.
It was the moment I started understanding what Rotaract was truly about. Working alongside people I barely knew eventually turned into friendships and bonds that I know will last a lifetime. Projects like What Next 2025 and Elevate’25 shaped me into the person I am today. They pushed me beyond limits I never thought I could cross and helped me discover strengths I never knew I had. There were stressful days, sleepless nights, and yes, even moments where I cried over projects, but every single tear was worth it because every experience taught me something valuable and helped me grow.
Today, serving as the Co-Director of the Public Relations Avenue makes me realize how far I have come since the day I first started this journey. Rotaract gave me more than memories and experiences. It gave me confidence, growth, lifelong friendships and a version of myself that I am truly proud of becoming.
