My journey with the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance has shaped me in ways I never expected. Starting as just a prospect member, I never imagined how far this journey would take me. Serving as the Club Service Co-Director, I discovered strengths within myself that I never knew existed. Chairing Hade Veena 3.0 was my turning point and from that, I learned that leadership is not about standing above a team but growing together with people who share the same passion and energy.
If someone asks me what the biggest thing Rotaract did for me, I would say it brought out the extroverted side of me. It helped me step out of my comfort zone, connect with new people confidently, express my ideas freely and build friendships that became unforgettable parts of my university life. Rotaract taught me how to turn pressure into motivation, strangers into family and simple moments into lifelong memories. Looking back, I realize that Rotaract did not just help me build skills; it helped me build myself.
Most importantly, I want to thank everyone who stood by me, supported, guided and believed in me from the very beginning when I was just a prospect member, up to now.
