We are excited to announce the recipients of the gold, silver, and bronze awards for the “Most Outstanding Professional Development Initiative – Career Guidance.”

Gold – Project “Are You Ready?” by the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa

Project “Are You Ready?” stands out as the largest and longest-running career fair in Sri Lanka, making a significant impact over its 27-year history. This initiative connects hundreds of undergraduates with the country’s biggest companies, providing them with essential tools to jump-start their careers. Last year, the event featured over 50 top companies, offering internships, career advice, and job opportunities. The fair includes vital components such as CV writing workshops, mock interviews, and direct networking opportunities with industry leaders. This initiative has empowered thousands of students, boosting their confidence and readiness to take the next steps in their professional journeys.

Silver – Project “Career Fair 2024” by the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya

“Career Fair 2024” transcends the traditional event format, presenting a transformative experience for students. This year’s fair was the most impactful in the university’s history, featuring over 70 esteemed companies and conducting more than 700 onsite interviews. The project included ten open days at the university, a dedicated freelancing forum, and an insightful panel discussion on the impact of AI on professional growth. By focusing on empowering students to explore new possibilities and connect with professionals, this initiative went beyond mere job opportunities. Additionally, the launch of a career fair magazine further enriched the experience, providing valuable insights into the job market.

Bronze – Project “What Next” by the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance

“What Next” is a hallmark initiative of the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance, running for the third consecutive year. This program aims to bridge the gap between undergraduates and industry professionals, connecting students with over 35 leading companies nationwide. Through a structured approach comprising seven phases—including personal branding, careers in HR, interview skills, LinkedIn optimization, CV crafting, mock interviews, and a main career fair—participants gain invaluable insights and career advice. This initiative has proven instrumental in shaping the future paths of many undergraduates, enabling them to make informed decisions about their careers. In conclusion, these outstanding initiatives from the Rotaract Clubs highlight their unwavering commitment to fostering leadership, enhancing interpersonal skills, and providing transformative learning experiences. Such efforts play a crucial role in preparing the next generation of leaders to meet the challenges of the professional world.

වඩාත්ම කැපී පෙනෙන PD මුලපිරීම – වෘත්තීය මාර්ගෝපදේශනය.

කුසලතා වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම සහ නායකත්වය පෝෂණය කිරීම කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කරන වෘත්තීය සංවර්ධන ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ, රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයන් සැලකිය යුතු ප්‍රගතියක් ලබා ඇත.“වඩාත් විශිෂ්ටතම වෘත්තිය සංවර්ධන මුලපිරීම – වෘත්තීය මාර්ගෝපදේශනය” සඳහා වූ රන්, රිදී සහ ලෝකඩ සම්මානලාභීන් නිවේදනය කිරීමට අපි සතුටු වෙමු.

රන් සම්මානය – “Are You Ready?” මොරටුව විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ ව්‍යාපෘතියකි.

“Are You Ready?” යන ව්‍යාපෘතිය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවෙහි විශාලතම සහ දීර්ඝතම වෘත්තීය ප්‍රදර්ශනය ලෙස වසර 27ක ඉතිහාසයට උරුමකම් කියමින් සැලකිය යුතු බලපෑමක් සිදු කර තිබේ මෙම මුලපිරීම රටේ විශාලතම සමාගම් සමඟ උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයින්ට සිය ගණනක් සම්බන්ධ කරමින්, අත්‍යවශ්‍ය මෙවලම් සපයමින් ඔවුන්ගේ වෘත්තීය ජීවිතය ආරම්භ කිරීමට අඩිතාලමක් ලබා දෙයි. පසුගිය වසරේ, මෙම අවස්ථාවට ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ සමාගම් 50 කට අධික ප්‍රමාණයක් ඉදිරිපත් වූ අතර සීමාවාසික පුහුණු, වෘත්තීය උපදෙස් සහ රැකියා අවස්ථාද සැපයන ලදි. රැකියා යෝග්‍යතා පත්‍ර ලිවීමේ වැඩමුළු, පුහුණු සම්මුඛ සාකච්ඡා සහ කර්මාන්ත නායකයන් සමඟ සෘජු ජාලකරණය අවස්ථා වැනි අංගවලින් මෙම ප්‍රදර්ශනය සමන්විත වේ. මෙම මුලපිරීම සිසුන් දහස් ගණනක් සවිබල ගන්වා ඇති අතර,ඔවුන්ගේ වෘත්තීය ගමනේ ඊළඟ පියවර ගැනීමට ඇති සූදානම පිළිබඳ ඔවුන්ගේ විශ්වාසය ඉහළ නංවා ඇත

රිදී සම්මානය – කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජය විසින් මෙහෙයවූ “Career Fair 2024” ව්‍යාපෘතිය.

“Career Fair 2024” සම්ප්‍රදායික සිදුවීම් ආකෘතිය ඉක්මවා, සිසුන් සඳහා නව අත්දැකීම් පරිවර්තනයක් ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත.මෙවර රැකියා පොළ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ඉතිහාසයට වඩාත්ම බලපෑමක් කළේය. ඒ සඳහා ගෞරවනීය සමාගම් 70 කට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවක් ඇතුළත් වූ අතර ස්ථානීය සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ 700කට වඩා පවත්වා ඇත. ව්‍යාපෘතියට විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ විවෘත දින දහයක් ඇතුළත් වූ අතර කැපවූ නිදහස් මාධ්‍ය සංසදයක් සහ වෘත්තීය වර්ධනයට AI හි බලපෑම පිළිබඳ තීක්ෂ්ණ බුද්ධිය සහිත මාණ්ඩලික සාකච්ඡාවක්ද ඇතුළත් විය. මෙම මුලපිරීම හුදු රැකියා අවස්ථා ඉක්මවා නව හැකියාවන් ගවේෂණය කිරීමට සහ වෘත්තිකයන් සමඟ සම්බන්ධ වීමට සිසුන් සවිබල ගැන්වීම කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කළේය . මීට අමතරව, වෘත්තීය ප්‍රදර්ශන සඟරාව හඳුන්වා දීම මඟින් රැකියා වෙළෙඳපොළ පිළිබඳ වටිනා අවබෝධයන් හා අත්දැකීම් දියුණු කළේය.ලෝකඩ සම්මානය – කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණය සහ මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ “What Next” ව්‍යාපෘතියයි.

“What Next” යනු කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණය සහ මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ සුවිශේෂී වූ අඛණ්ඩව තුන්වන වසර සඳහා ධාවනය වන මුලපිරීමකි. මෙම වැඩසටහන අරමුණු කරයි.උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයින් සහ කර්මාන්ත වෘත්තීකයන් අතර වන පාලම යා කරමින් රට පුරා ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ සමාගම් 35කට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවක් සමඟ සිසුන් සම්බන්ධ කළේය. අදියර හතකින් සමන්විත ව්‍යුහගත ප්‍රවේශයක් හරහා – පුද්ගලික වෙළඳ නාමකරණය, ,මානව සම්පත් හි වෘත්තීන්, සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ කුසලතා, LinkedIn ප්‍රශස්තිකරණය, CV සැකසීම, පුහුණු සම්මුඛ සාකච්ඡා සහ ප්‍රධාන වෘත්තීය ප්‍රදර්ශනයක් අන්තර්ගත විය – මෙමගින් සහභාගිවන්නන් හට වටිනා අවබෝධයන් සහ වෘත්තීය උපදෙස් ලබා ගැනීමට හැකි විය . මෙම මුලපිරීම බොහෝ උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයින්ගේ අනාගත මාර්ග හැඩගැස්වීමට උපකාරී වී ඇති අතරම ඔවුන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ වෘත්තිය පිළිබඳව දැනුවත් තීරණ ගැනීමට හැකිවී ඇත.

අවසාන වශයෙන්, රොටරැක්ට් සමාජවල මෙම කැපී පෙනෙන මුලපිරීම් ඔවුන්ගේ නායකත්වය පෝෂණය කිරීම සඳහා නොසැලෙන කැපවීම, අන්තර් පුද්ගල කුසලතා වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම සහ පරිවර්තනීය ඉගෙනුම් අත්දැකීම් ලබා දීම ඉස්මතු කරයි. මෙවැනි උත්සාහයන් වෘත්තීය ලෝකයේ අභියෝගවලට මුහුණ දීමට ඊළඟ පරම්පරාවේ නායකයින් සූදානම් කිරීමේදී තීරණාත්මක කාර්යභාරයක් ඉටු කරයි.

திட்டம் “Are you Ready?”அதன் 27 ஆண்டுகால வரலாற்றில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்திய இலங்கையின் மிகப் பெரிய மற்றும் நீண்ட காலமாக இயங்கும் தொழில் கண்காட்சியாக விளங்குகிறது. இந்த முயற்சியானது நூற்றுக்கணக்கான இளங்கலை பட்டதாரிகளை நாட்டின் மிகப்பெரிய நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைக்கிறது, அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையைத் தொடங்குவதற்கு தேவையான கருவிகளை அவர்களுக்கு வழங்குகிறது. கடந்த ஆண்டு இந்த நிகழ்வில் 50 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட முன்னணி நிறுவனங்கள், Internship. தொழில் ஆலோசனை மற்றும் வேலை வாய்ப்புகளை வழங்கின CV எழுதும் பட்டறைகள் போலி நேர்காணல்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்துறை தலைவர்களுடன் நேரடி நெடவொர்க்கிங் வாய்ப்புகள் போன்ற முக்கிய கூறுகள் இந்த கண்காட்சியில் அடங்கும் இந்த முன்முயற்சி ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மாணவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளித்துள்ளது. அவர்களின் தன்னம்பிக்கை மற்றும் அவர்களின் தொழில்முறை பயணங்களில் அடுத்த படிகளை எடுக்க தயாராக உள்ளது.வெள்ளி – களனி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ரோட்ராக்ட் கிளப்பின் “தொழில் கண்காட்சி 2024” திட்டம்

“What Next” என்பது கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ரோட்ராக்ட் கிளப், முகாமைத்துவம் மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்தின் ஒரு முக்கிய முயற்சியாகும், இது தொடர்ந்து மூன்றாவது ஆண்டாக இயங்குகிறது. இந்த திட்டம் இளங்கலை பட்டதாரிகளுக்கும் தொழில் வல்லுநர்களுக்கும் இடையிலான இடைவெளியைக் குறைப்பதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது, நாடு முழுவதும் 35 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட முன்னணி நிறுவனங்களுடன் மாணவர்களை இணைக்கிறது. ஏழு கட்டங்களை உள்ளடக்கிய கட்டமைக்கப்பட்ட அணுகுமுறையின் மூலம்-தனிப்பட்ட பிராண்டிங், மனிதவளத் துறையில் தொழில், நேர்காணல் திறன், Linkedin தேர்வுமுறை,CV கைவினை, போலி நேர்காணல்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு முக்கிய தொழில் நியாயமான – பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் ஆதாயம் விலைமதிப்பற்ற நுண்ணறிவு மற்றும் தொழில் ஆலோசனை இந்த முன்முயற்சி பல இளங்கலை பட்டதாரிகளின் எதிர்கால பாதைகளை வடிவமைப்பதில் கருவியாக நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
