Serving on the Executive Committee this year has been one of the most meaningful journeys of my university life. I stepped into Rotaract as a curious newcomer, unsure of what to expect, yet eager to explore. What I found was far more than I imagined ,a space that challenged me, shaped me, and helped me grow in ways I never thought possible.
From being a prospect member, to chairing projects and working closely within committees, every experience taught me something valuable. I learned how to lead with purpose, collaborate with diverse individuals, and stay resilient even when things didn’t go as planned. Those early opportunities laid the foundation for everything that followed.
Taking on the role of Membership Development Director was a turning point. Managing intakes and chairing the installation pushed me beyond my comfort zone. It strengthened my confidence, improved my communication, and taught me how to handle responsibility with care and commitment. It was a phase of immense growth,one that is honestly difficult to put into words.
Stepping into the role of Assistant Secretary added yet another dimension to my journey. It refined my attention to detail, strengthened my organizational skills, and gave me a deeper understanding of how everything comes together behind the scenes to keep the club moving forward.
As I look back, I feel truly grateful ,for the opportunities, the challenges, the friendships, and every lesson along the way. Rotaract has not only been a part of my university life; it has been a journey that transformed me into a better, stronger version of myself.
