Here are a few questions we asked her, and her thoughtful answers to them:

What is your favorite project you have been a part of in Rotaract?

I think the “Sneha” project, is the one that is close to my heart because something that we started when I was president, where we go to under privileged economically challenging areas in the country and teach them Maths and science and Not just education things also have sessions with them and talk to them and they might go to personal things even kids that of years of 6, 7 age. They have gone through so much so sometimes having a casual chat about all of this. This is one of the best projects that I’ve been a part of. Apart from that “Conquer Colombo”. It’s a very challenging project, logistically challenging project but it’s an amazing experience that is indescribable also those two are my best and favorite projects.

How do you balance responsibilities in Rotaract with your commitments?

Well, I’m not going to lie. But I think Prioritization does help in whatever I do in terms of keeping track of my work and in terms of little sticky notes to to-do lists to calendar blocking and these things that I have tried doing. So, prioritization is the key for me as whenever I wake up in the morning, I look at the 3 most important things that I have to do in terms of personal life, in terms of work, or in terms of Rotaract, to do that particular goal depending on how important regardless of what it is. Sometimes, it could be a personal thing but most of the time it is Rotaract, and that prioritization does make a difference.
