The 10th of September brought life to a world of illusion at the Sports Ministry Auditorium. With “Now You See Me-2” recently hitting the theaters, the Rotaract Club of NSBM couldn’t have decided on a better time to put on a Magic Show.
Being an individual who is passionate about the whole concept of illusions and someone who had followed quite a number of acts through the screen, what really pushed me to go for this event more than anything was the sheer intrigue to see what a Sri Lankan Magic Act could offer.
So how well did Hannibal actually fair? To all those who missed it, you missed one fantastic show! “Hannibal” the Magician, simply owned the audience from the moment he walked onto the stage. His quick wit and seemingly hilarious no-nonsense approach brought a very refreshing aspect of comedy into the act. It was a different kind of a show where you were either laughing or being mystified or both at the same time.
It was a well spent 2 hours and Hannibal definitely won the hearts of his audience with his skill and showmanship. The audience for sure will not want to miss out on another opportunity to witness a fabulous show.
