Project report writing is an essential skill for every Rotaractor, as it allows the efforts, planning and outcomes of a project to be communicated clearly and effectively. Recognizing the importance of strengthening these skills, the Professional Development Avenue of the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance organized Write It Right 3.0, a workshop focused on enhancing the ability of Rotaractors to prepare clear, structured and impactful project reports.
Write It Right 3.0 was conducted in a physical setting, creating an opportunity for a more engaging and effective learning experience. Held on 11th September 2026 at the Faculty of Management and Finance premises, the workshop commenced at 3.30 p.m. and brought participants together for an energetic and interactive learning experience.
The workshop was conducted by Rtr. Sanduni Wickramarachchi, Secretary of the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance for the RI year 2025–26, who shared her knowledge and practical insights on effective project report writing. With the participation of 50+ participants, from the moment the session began, it was filled with energy, enthusiasm and active participation, continuing throughout the workshop until its conclusion.
During the session, participants were guided through the structure of a project report, gaining a clearer understanding of what should be included and what should be avoided when documenting a project. The session was highly interactive and engaging, allowing participants to follow the concepts with interest while gaining practical knowledge that could be applied to their future projects.
The workshop concluded with an interactive quiz based on the concepts discussed during the session, providing participants with an opportunity to test their understanding of the key areas covered. The quiz brought the session to a lively conclusion while reinforcing the importance of effective and accurate project documentation.
The success of Write It Right 3.0 was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the team, led by the two Chairpersons, Rtr. Rivinka Fernando and Rtr. Chamod Dhanapala, together with committee member Rtr. Thejani Adassuriya. Their commitment and teamwork contributed to making the workshop a meaningful and valuable experience for all participants.
ව්‍යාපෘති වාර්තා ලිවීම සෑම රොටරැක්ටර්වරයෙකුටම අත්‍යවශ්‍ය කුසලතාවක් වන අතර, ව්‍යාපෘතියක් සඳහා සිදු කළ උත්සාහයන්, සැලසුම් සහ එහි ප්‍රතිඵල පැහැදිලිව හා ඵලදායී ලෙස සන්නිවේදනය කිරීමට එය උපකාරී වේ. මෙම කුසලතා වර්ධනය කිරීමේ වැදගත්කම හඳුනාගනිමින්, කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ වෘත්තීය සංවර්ධන අංශය විසින් රොටරැක්ටර්වරුන්ට පැහැදිලි, විධිමත් හා ඵලදායී ව්‍යාපෘති වාර්තා සකස් කිරීමේ හැකියාව වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් “Write It Right 3.0” වැඩමුළුව සංවිධානය කරන ලදී.
“Write It Right 3.0” වැඩමුළුව භෞතිකව පැවැත්වුණු අතර, එමඟින් වඩාත් සක්‍රීය හා ඵලදායී ඉගෙනුම් අත්දැකීමක් සඳහා අවස්ථාව සැලසිණි. 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් 11 වන දින කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨ පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්වුණු මෙම වැඩමුළුව පස්වරු 3.30ට ආරම්භ වූ අතර, සහභාගිවන්නන්ට උද්යෝගිමත් හා අන්තර්ක්‍රියාකාරී ඉගෙනුම් අත්දැකීමක් ලබා දුන්නේය.
මෙම වැඩමුළුව මෙහෙයවනු ලැබුවේ RI 2025–26 වර්ෂය සඳහා කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨයේ රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයේ ලේකම් ලෙස කටයුතු කළ Rtr. Sanduni Wickramarachchi විසිනි. ඇය ඵලදායී ව්‍යාපෘති වාර්තා ලිවීම පිළිබඳ සිය දැනුම සහ ප්‍රායෝගික අත්දැකීම් සහභාගිවන්නන් සමඟ බෙදාගත්තාය. 50කට අධික පිරිසකගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වුණු මෙම සැසිය ආරම්භයේ සිට අවසානය දක්වාම උද්යෝගය, උනන්දුව සහ සක්‍රීය සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පිරී පැවතිණි.
සැසිය අතරතුරදී, ව්‍යාපෘති වාර්තාවක ව්‍යුහය පිළිබඳව සහභාගිවන්නන්ට මඟපෙන්වීමක් ලබා දුන් අතර, ව්‍යාපෘතියක් වාර්තාගත කිරීමේදී ඇතුළත් කළ යුතු සහ ඇතුළත් කිරීමෙන් වැළකිය යුතු කරුණු පිළිබඳවද පැහැදිලි අවබෝධයක් ලබා දෙන ලදී. මෙම සැසිය ඉතා අන්තර්ක්‍රියාකාරී හා සිත්ගන්නාසුලු ආකාරයෙන් පැවැත්වුණු අතර, එමඟින් සහභාගිවන්නන්ට ඉදිරි ව්‍යාපෘතිවලදී ප්‍රායෝගිකව යොදාගත හැකි දැනුම ලබාගනිමින් උනන්දුවෙන් කරුණු අවබෝධ කරගැනීමට හැකි විය.
සැසියේදී සාකච්ඡා කළ කරුණු පදනම් කරගත් අන්තර්ක්‍රියාකාරී ප්‍රශ්න විචාරාත්මක වැඩසටහනකින් වැඩමුළුව අවසන් විය. එමඟින් සාකච්ඡා කළ ප්‍රධාන කරුණු පිළිබඳ තම අවබෝධය පරීක්ෂා කර බැලීමට සහභාගිවන්නන්ට අවස්ථාව ලැබිණි. මෙම ප්‍රශ්න විචාරාත්මක අංගය සැසියට උද්යෝගිමත් අවසානයක් එක් කළ අතර, ඵලදායී හා නිවැරදි ව්‍යාපෘති ලේඛනගත කිරීමේ වැදගත්කම තවදුරටත් තහවුරු කළේය.
“Write It Right 3.0” වැඩමුළුවේ සාර්ථකත්වය පිටුපස කණ්ඩායමේ කැපවීම සහ නොපසුබට උත්සාහය විශාල දායකත්වයක් ලබා දුන්නේය. ව්‍යාපෘතියේ සභාපතිවරුන් දෙදෙනා වූ Rtr. Rivinka Fernando සහ Rtr. Chamod Dhanapalaගේ නායකත්වය යටතේ, කමිටු සාමාජික Rtr. Thejani Adassuriyaගේ සහයෝගය සමඟ කණ්ඩායම කැපවීමෙන් කටයුතු කළේය. ඔවුන්ගේ කැපවීම සහ කණ්ඩායම් හැඟීම මෙම වැඩමුළුව සියලුම සහභාගිවන්නන්ට අර්ථවත් හා වටිනා අත්දැකීමක් බවට පත් කිරීමට මහත් දායකත්වයක් ලබා දුන්නේය.
“Write It Right 3.0” என்பது Rotaractors-ன் திட்ட அறிக்கை எழுதும் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பயிற்சிப்பட்டறையாகும். தங்கள் திட்டங்களைத் தெளிவாகவும், துல்லியமாகவும், பயனுள்ள முறையிலும் ஆவணப்படுத்துவதற்குத் தேவையான அறிவையும் நடைமுறைப் புரிதலையும் Rotaractors-க்கு வழங்குவதே இப்பயிற்சிப்பட்டறையின் நோக்கமாகும்.
இந்தப் பயிற்சிப்பட்டறை, ஒரு திட்ட அறிக்கையின் சரியான கட்டமைப்பைப் புரிந்துகொள்வது, அறிக்கையில் எவற்றைச் சேர்க்க வேண்டும் மற்றும் எவற்றைச் சேர்க்கக்கூடாது என்பதை அடையாளம் காண்பது, மேலும் ஒரு திட்டத்தின் முயற்சிகளையும் அதன் தாக்கத்தையும் ஒழுங்கமைக்கப்பட்ட முறையில் வெளிப்படுத்துவது ஆகியவற்றில் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறது.
இந்த அறிக்கையிடல் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்துவதன் மூலம், Rotaractors தங்கள் திட்ட அனுபவங்களை அர்த்தமுள்ளதும் தாக்கத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தக்கூடியதுமான ஆவணங்களாக மாற்றுவதற்கு இப்பயிற்சிப்பட்டறை உதவுகிறது. இதன் மூலம், அவர்கள் மேற்கொண்ட பணிகளின் உண்மையான மதிப்பையும் தாக்கத்தையும் தெளிவாகப் பிரதிபலிக்கும் வகையில் தங்கள் திட்டங்களைப் பதிவு செய்ய முடியும்.
