The Rotaract Club of the University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance commenced the Rotaract year 2024/2025 with its annual tradition, Project Arambhayak. This significant initiative, organized under the club’s Community Service avenue, unites the new executive and board members in visits to four religious sites to seek blessings for the forthcoming year. The project team meticulously selected the religious sites and coordinated with each to ensure a warm welcome. This year’s chosen places of worship included St. Mary’s Church in Bambalapitiya, Old Katiresan Vijay Pillaiar Kovil, Vajiraramaya Buddhist Temple, and Wellawatte Jumma Masjid. Essential items for the visits were distributed among the executive and board members, who were briefed on the event’s key details.
On July 22nd, the journey commenced at St. Mary’s Church, where the team lit candles and received blessings. The next destination was the kovil, where they performed the pooja rituals. At Vajiraramaya Buddhist Temple, they offered flowers and lit oil lamps, receiving blessings from Seela Wimala Thero. The final visit was to Wellawatte Jumma Masjid, where Irfan Maulavi blessed the new Rotaract year. In addition to seeking blessings, the club members highlighted their commitment to service by distributing 25 lunch packets to underprivileged individuals on the streets. This act of kindness underscored the club’s dedication to beginning the new year on a positive and compassionate note.
Public relations activities for Project Arambhayak began on July 13th and concluded on July 25th with the release of an after-project poster. The initiative was not only a spiritual journey but also a powerful reminder of the club’s values and dedication to community service. Overall, Project Arambhayak was a fulfilling and meaningful experience, setting a strong and auspicious tone for the Rotaract year ahead. 
කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්යාලයීය කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්ය පීඨයේ Rotaract සමාජයේ 2024-2025 Rotaract වර්ෂය ‘ආරම්භයක්’ ව්යාපෘතිය සමඟින් සාම්ප්රදායිකව ආරම්භ විය. සමාජයේ ප්රජා සේවා මාවත යටතේ සංවිධානය කරන ලද මෙම වැදගත් මුලපිරීම, නව විධායක සහ අධ්යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයින්ගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් සහ සහයෝගය ඇතිව ඉදිරි වසර සඳහා ආශිර්වාද ලබා ගැනීම සඳහා ආගමික ස්ථාන හතරකට සංචාරය කළේය. ව්යාපෘති කණ්ඩායම ඉතා සැලසුම්සහගත ලෙස ආගමික ස්ථාන තෝරාගෙන උණුසුම් පිළිගැනීමක් සහතික කිරීම සඳහා මනාව සම්බන්ධීකරණය කළේය. මෙම වසරේ තෝරාගත් පූජනීය ස්ථාන අතර බම්බලපිටියේ ශාන්ත මරියා දේවස්ථානය, පැරණි කදිරේසන් විජේ පිල්ලයාර් කෝවිල, වජිරාරාම බෞද්ධ විහාරය සහ වැල්ලවත්ත මුස්ලිම් පල්ලිය ඇතුළත් විය. සංචාරය සඳහා අත්යවශ්ය ද්රව්ය විධායක සහ අධ්යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයින් අතර බෙදා හරින ලද අතර, උත්සවයේ ප්රධාන තොරතුරු පිළිබඳව ඔවුන් දැනුවත් කරන ලදී.
ජූලි 22 වැනිදා ශාන්ත මරියා දේවස්ථානයෙන් ගමන ආරම්භ වූ අතර එහිදී කණ්ඩායම ඉටිපන්දම් දල්වා ආශිර්වාද ලබා ගත්හ. ඊළඟ ගමනාන්තය වූයේ කදිරේසන් කෝවිල වන අතර එහිදී ඔවුන් පූජා චාරිත්ර ඉටු කළහ. වජිරාරාමය විහාරස්ථානයේ දී මල් පහන් දල්වා සීල විමල හිමියන්ගෙන් ආශිර්වාද ලබා ගත්හ. අවසන් සංචාරය ලෙස වැල්ලවත්ත මුස්ලිම් පල්ලිය වෙත ගිය අතර එහිදී ඉර්ෆාන් මවුලවිතුමා නව Rotaract වසරට ආශිර්වාද කළේය. ආශිර්වාද ලබා ගැනීමට අමතරව, සමාජයේ සාමාජිකයින් වීදිවල අඩු වරප්රසාද සහිත පුද්ගලයින් සඳහා දිවා ආහාර පැකට් 25 ක් බෙදා දීමෙන් ඔවුන්ගේ සේවයට ඇති කැපවීම ඉස්මතු කළහ. මෙම කාරුණික ක්රියාව මගින් නව වසර ධනාත්මක සහ දයානුකම්පිත සටහනකින් ආරම්භ කිරීමට සමාජය දක්වන කැපවීම අවධාරනය කළේය.
අරම්භයක් ව්යාපෘතිය සඳහා මහජන සම්බන්ධතා කටයුතු ජූලි 13 වැනි දින ආරම්භ වූ අතර ව්යාපෘතියෙන් පසු පෝස්ටරය නිකුත් කිරීමත් සමඟ ජූලි 25 වැනි දින එම කටයුතු අවසන් විය. මෙම මුලපිරීම අධ්යාත්මික ගමනක් පමණක් නොව සමාජයේ වටිනාකම් සහ ප්රජා සේවය සඳහා වූ කැපවීම පිළිබඳ ප්රබල මතක් කිරීමක් ද විය. සමස්තයක් වශයෙන්, ” ආරම්භයක් ” ව්යාපෘතිය තෘප්තිමත් සහ අර්ථාන්විත අත්දැකීමක් වූ අතර, ඉදිරි Rotaract වසර සඳහා ශක්තිමත් සහ සුභදායී පියවරකි. 
கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் முகாமைத்துவ மற்றும் நிதி பீடத்தின் Rotaract கழகமானது அதன் வருடாந்த பாரம்பரியமான Project Arambhayak உடன் 2024-2025 Rotaract ஆண்டை ஆரம்பித்தது. கழகத்தின் சமூக சேவை அவென்யூவின் கீழ் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட இந்த குறிப்பிடத்தக்க முன்முயற்சி, வரவிருக்கும் ஆண்டிற்கான ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற நான்கு மதத் தலங்களுக்கும் சென்று புதிய நிர்வாக மற்றும் குழு உறுப்பினர்களை ஒன்றிணைத்தது. இத்திட்டக் குழு, மத வழிபாட்டுத் தலங்களை உன்னிப்பாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, ஒவ்வொன்றையும் ஒருங்கிணைத்து அன்பான வரவேற்பை உறுதி செய்தது. பம்பலப்பிட்டியில் உள்ள புனித மரியாள் தேவாலயம், பழைய கதிரேசன் வஜிரா பிள்ளையார் கோவில், வஜிராராமய பௌத்த ஆலயம் மற்றும் வெள்ளவத்தை ஜும்மா மஸ்ஜித் என்பன இவ்வருடம் தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட வழிபாட்டுத் தலங்களாகும். பயணத்திற்கானஅத்தியாவசியப் பொருட்கள் நிர்வாகக் குழு உறுப்பினர்களிடையே பகிரப்பட்டன.நிகழ்வின் முக்கிய விவரங்கள் குறித்தும் விளக்கப்பட்டது.
ஜூலை 22 ஆம் தேதி, புனித மேரி தேவாலயத்தில் பயணம் தொடங்கியது, அங்கு குழு மெழுகுவர்த்தி ஏற்றி ஆசீர்வாதம் பெற்றது. அதனையடுத்து கோவிலில் பூஜை சடங்குகளை செய்யப்பட்டன.வஜிராராமய பௌத்த விகாரையில் மலர்களை சமர்ப்பித்து எண்ணெய் விளக்குகளை ஏற்றி சீல விமல தேரரிடம் ஆசிர்வாதம் பெற்றனர். அடுத்து இர்பான் மௌலவி அவர்களிடம. புதிய ரொட்ராக்ட் ஆண்டிற்கான ஆசீர்வதித்தை பெறுவதற்காக வெள்ளவத்தை ஜும்மா பள்ளிவாசலுக்கு விஐயம் செய்தோம். ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவதற்கு மேலதிகமாக, தெருக்களில் உள்ள ஆதரவற்றோருக்கு 25 மதிய உணவுப் பொட்டலங்களை விநியோகிப்பதன் மூலம் கழக உறுப்பினர்கள் தங்கள் சேவைக்கான அர்ப்பணிப்பை எடுத்துரைத்தனர். இந்த கருணைச் செயல், புதிய ஆண்டை நேர்மறையான வகையில் தொடங்குவதற்கான கழகத்தினர அர்ப்பணிப்பை காட்டுகிறது. 
திட்டம் ஆரம்பயக்கிற்கான மக்கள் தொடர்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் ஜூலை 13 ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கி ஜூலை 25 ஆம் தேதி திட்டத்திற்குப் பிந்தைய சுவரொட்டி வெளியீட்டதுடன் முடிவடைந்தது. இம்முயற்சி ஒரு ஆன்மீக பயணம் மட்டுமல்ல, கழகத்தின நம்பிக்கைகள் மற்றும் சமூக சேவைக்கான அர்ப்பணிப்பு ஆகியவற்றின் சக்திவாய்ந்த நினைவூட்டலாகவும் இருந்தது. ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக, திட்டம் ஆரம்பயக் ஒரு நிறைவான மற்றும் அர்த்தமுள்ள அனுபவமாக இருந்தது, இது வரவிருக்கும் ரோட்ராக்ட் ஆண்டிற்கு வலுவான மற்றும் மங்களகரமான தொடக்கத்தை அமைத்தது.
