Miles Ahead 2.0; Crafting Tomorrow’s Blog Champions

Miles Ahead 2.0 was a sequel to the successful team bonding project, Miles Ahead, initiated for the FMF Blog team. The primary objective of Miles Ahead 2.0 was to conduct an interactive workshop to acquaint the newbies with the blog. The event offered a valuable opportunity for the junior Blog Team members to forge connections and enhance mutual understanding.

The day commenced with all blog members, both juniors and seniors, converging at Independence Square premises under the guidance of Editors Rtr Amaan and Rtr. Mandini. The session was kickstarted with the introduction of the existing blog team and the junior blog team members. The day’s proceedings started with a brief address from the former editors of the club Rtr. Zahra and Rtr. Hasara. The editors provided an insightful introduction to the blog, offering a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes work. Rtr. Zahra and Rtr. Hasara shared anecdotes about the blog’s legacy, honoring the hard work of former editors who contributed to its success. Senior blog members spoke warmly, extending a hearty welcome to the juniors.

They also talked about personal growth and the things one would learn by engaging in blog activities by emphasizing that the blog is the heart of FMF. They generously exchanged insights on enhancing the blog’s overall standards. These collaborative discussions not only enriched the team’s understanding of the blog but also illuminated the dedicated efforts invested in its development.To ensure an enjoyable session and familiarize the juniors with the blog’s layout, Rtr. Zahra and Rtr. Hasara proposed an icebreaker. An interactive session where all the members were divided into four teams and asked to find certain tabs of the FMF blog page within the shortest time. A lively competition ensued to locate specific tabs on the blog. The fastest team to find the designated tab claimed victory, turning the event into a chaotic yet closely contested mini-team bonding session. After the interactive session, the Co-Editors of the club Rtr. Amaan and Rtr. Mandini explained the components of the FMF blog page to the junior blog team members. They provided intricate details about each tab and clarified the functions associated with it.

No blog session is complete without a touch of fun, and at the FMF Blog, that often involves creating a TikTok video. The juniors embraced this tradition, showcasing their dance moves and capturing memorable moments in both TikTok and photographs. To help in this endeavor a familiar face close to the blog took charge, the current Co-Director of Public Relations Rtr. Faiiha who is also a former junior blog team member engaged with the juniors and also showcased her exceptional photography skills and proved that she is the PR Boss Lady of the Club for a reason. Following the energetic activities, it was time for a well-deserved break and refreshments. As the sunny morning on Friday demanded a pause, Sponsored by our very own Director of Finance Rtr. Post-break, teams regrouped at the university premises to discuss ongoing blog projects such as Quill Quest, Honoured and Sealed, and Benchmark. The editors received updates on the status of ongoing projects, while committees held meetings to delve into project details. By the end of the day, the junior team found clarity and gained a comprehensive understanding of the blog. Before wrapping up the session, Rtr. Amaan and Rtr. Mandini expressed their gratitude towards the former co-editors, who generously dedicated time from their bustling schedules to mentor the new team. Heartfelt appreciation was extended to all participants in the workshop, collectively contributing to the success of the session. The day concluded on a happy note, marking the successful completion of the Miles Ahead 2.0 project.

Hasara ගේ කෙටි දේශනයකින් පසුව දවසේ කටයුතු ආරම්භ විය. සංස්කාරකවරුන් විසින් තිරය පිටුපසය වැඩ කටයුතු පිළිබඳ රූප රාමු සහිත පැහැදිලි දර්ශන පථයක් සපයමින් Blog page එක පිලිබද පැහැදිලි හැදින්වීමක් ලබා දුන්නෝය.Rtr. Zahra සහ Rtr. Hasara Blog අඩවියෙහි සාර්ථකත්වයට දායක වූ හිටපු සංස්කාරකවරුන්ගේ කැප කිරීම් වලට ස්තූති කළ අතර ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ Blog සාමාජිකයින් විසින් කනිෂ්ඨ Blog සාමාජිකයන් උණුසුම් ලෙස පිළිගන්නා ලදි. Blog අඩවිය Fmf හි හදවත බව අවධාරණය කරමින් Blog ක්‍රියාකාරකම් වල යෙදීමෙන් ඉගෙන ගන්නා දේවල් තුළින් පෞරුෂ වර්ධනයක් සිදුවන බවද ඔවුන් අවධාරණය කළහ. ඔවුන් Blog අඩවියේ සමස්ත ප්‍රමිතිය වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම පිළිබඳ අවධානය යොමු කළහ. මෙම රැස්වීමෙන් පසුව Blog අඩවිය පිළිබඳ සාමාජිකයන්ගේ අවබෝධය පුළුල් වූ අතර Blog අඩවියේ සංවර්ධනය සඳහා කරන ලද කැප කිරීම් පිළිබඳ මනා අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගත්හ.

විනෝදජනක හමුවක් මතක තබා ගැනීමට Rtr. Zahra සහ Rtr. Hasara ගේ යෝජනාවකට අනුව ice breaker ක්‍රියාකාරකමක් සංවිධානය කළහ. සියලුම සාමාජිකයන් කණ්ඩායම් හතරකට බෙදා කෙටිම කාලයක් තුළ Fmf Blog පිටුවේ ඇති Tabs සොයා ගන්නා ලෙස පවසා සිටියෝය. මෙය සජීවී තරගයක් වූ අතර නියමිත Tab සොයාගත් වේගවත්ම කණ්ඩායම ජයග්‍රහණය ට හිමිකම් කීය. එම ක්‍රියාකාරකමෙන් පසුව co-Editors Rtr. විවේක කාලයෙන් පසුව Quill Quest, Honoured and Sealed, Benchmark වැනි Blog Project ගැන සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට විශ්ව විද්‍යාල පරිශ්‍රයේදී පිරිස නැවත එකතු විය. ව්‍යාපෘති විස්තර සොයා බැලීම සඳහා කමිටු රැස්වීම් පැවැත් වූ අතර දැනට පවතින ව්‍යාපෘති තත්ත්වයන් පිළිබඳව කතුවරුන් දැනුවත් කළේය. දවස අවසානයේ කනිෂ්ඨ සාමාජිකයන් Blog අඩවිය පිළිබඳව පුළුල් අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගත්තේය. සැසිය අවසන් කිරීමට පෙර Rtr. Amaan සහ Rtr. Mandini නව කණ්ඩායමට උපදෙස් ලබා දීම සදහා කාර්යබහුල මොහොතක නොමසුරු කාලය කැපකල හිටපු සම කතුවරුන්ට සිය කෘත ඥතාව පළ කළෝය. වැඩසටහනේ සාර්ථකත්වයට සාමූහිකව දායක වෙමින් වැඩමුලුවට සහභාගී වූ සියලු දෙනාට හෘදයාංගම අගය කිරීමක් සිදු කරන ලදී. සතුටුදායක ලෙස දිනය අවසන් කරමින් Miles Ahed 2.0 Project සාර්ථකව නිම විය.
