Another Year, yet another remarkable milestone reached!
A mere idea that popped up 5 years ago, turned into a dream that became a reality on the 12th of July 2015.
With the launch of the blog of RACUOCFMF, history was made in the books of Rotaract. Just like that, year after year, the blog being one of the club’s biggest pride and prized possessions has brought nothing but sheer glory to its mother club. So here we are, 5 years down the line celebrating the joy of being graced with an opportunity to continue this legacy.
Kudos, to the founding editors of the Club Rtr. Ruzni Faik and Rtr. Bhashini Gamage, for initiating the first ever blog of the Rotaract District 3220. Their vision, hard work and commitment has undoubtedly driven the blog to reach extraordinary heights. In the same way, our writers, current and past editors have gone the extra mile to enrich the blog with quality content and regular updates. Needless to say that the blog to date remains a source of recognition and honor to our club only because of the amazing individuals who have worked day in and day out to bring life to it.
It’s no surprise that a blog so well taken care of keeps securing its well-deserving spot, the ‘Most outstanding Blog of the Year’ award at the Rotaract District Assembly every single year. The blog has been winning back to back awards for the past 5 years since its inception and has never failed to keep the club’s name soaring high at all times!
This year amidst all negativity, it has been quite a fruitful year for the blog. It has just been over a month since we celebrated the immense joy of the blog reaching 500,000 views and we are truly grateful to all our enthusiastic viewers for playing their part in taking the blog forward and doubling the joy of the half decade milestone.
Just as the saying goes “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” we at RACUOCFMF have realized that what’s worth will never come easy and we hope that the future writers, editors and viewers would carry this legacy forward.
